Merudameruda is a Lamia-themed Majin of the Space Pirates Balban under Spectral Empress Iliess who serves as the main antagonist of the 32nd episode of Seijuu Sentai Gingaman.

She is voiced by Miho Yamada.

Biography

Past

Merudameruda was Iliess' second daughter, the sister of Medoumedou and the niece of Desphias. Along with the rest of her family, Merudameruda joined the Balban three thousand years ago when they were formed by Captain Zahab to destroy planets for Daitanix to eat and turn into Planet Life Jewels. She was successful in helping the Balban in thier mission but was sealed away with the rest of the Balban when the original Gingamen defeated Zahab on Earth and placed a seal over them.

Gingaman

In 1990, the seal over the Balban expires and they return to being active threats. However, Medoumedou is not initially involved in the attack as Captain Zahab chooses Sambash as the active general.

Eventually, Iless becomes the active general and Medoumedou is sent by Illiess to revive Daitanix using the fear of 22 people by trapping them within her necklace. Inside her necklace is a nightmarish dimension which can invoke and drain the fear of those captured in it. Among her victims is Yuriko with her older brother Ichirou calling the Majin out to bring his sister back from captivity. Merudameruda overpowers him before Ryouma drives her away but, when the Gingamen corner her, Merudameruda summons her Gorgondia motorcycle to overwhelm the Beast Armor Shine Gingamen. With Ichirou giving them time, the Gingamen create the Galeo Pulsar with the Lights of Ginga so Ryouma can destroy Gorgondia and free her victims. Though her cycle is destroyed, Merudameruda survives and drinks her Barban Extract to battle Super Armor Shine Gingaioh with her illusionary magic. However, GigaRhinos intervenes and Merudameruda is destroyed by Super Armor Shine Gingaioh. Like with Medoumedou, Iliess shows no sadness at the death of her daughter.

Personality

Merudameruda was cruel and enjoyed kidnapping people for her plans.

• Merudameruda's suit was a rebuilt and repainted version of Medoumedou's suit.
