the reasoning is that Thanos from Fortnite is just a promotional thing and not warranted of being a unique character, which may be a thing.. I never played Fortnite to know : if we can discuss it without being needlessly argumentive (like the talk-page was) maybe we can see what's going on.
Queen Misery, I apologize for my rude and inappropriate behavior in the my reasons for wanting the page deleted. I accept the warning and have learned from it. I do not wish to be on a your watchlists, but I also know that if so, I will be prepared to have my account blocked from the Community. On the other hand, I will discuss the page and whether or not it should be deleted in a much more appropriate way. Please, forgive me.
I'm not blocking anyone over that, in fact admins arehaving a talk on how we handle promotional stuff now - if Thanos in Fortnite is literally just a new skin with some extra powers then it is not warranted its own page, especially if Fortnite Thanos has no real storyarc of his own in-game to support the need for a separate page from MCU Thanos (who he is promoting).
from what little I can gather it seems like Thanos in Fortnite is literally more a game-device than a full-out character with his own story etc.
I'll admit, I was having second thoughts about it when I first saw this, but I was worried I was going to get in an edit war over it, so I said nothing. But seeing that it's being discussed here, it might as well be deleted.
Thanos being in this game is nothing more but just some event where players get to play as Thanos and nothing more to it.
Both the Infinity Gauntlet and Endgame game modes was only added to promote both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame upon its release on the same day the game mode was added. I still apologize for such an inappropriate way to express my reasons. And, you're correct, Thanos (Fortnite) has no story arc and is only here for promotional reasons, along with the Chitauri in the game, too.
