  • I'm Bobg from TV Tropes. Remember me? I heard you were allowed back on TV Tropes. Unfortunately, our situations have swapped. I was permabanned a while ago for adding back heartwarming examples that were cut. I will get back on there eventually, be it by moving to another location with a new IP or appealing for a "parole hearing" of sorts with a new account to try and get my ban undone. I don't care if it's called a "permanent ban", it's ludicrous to think they wouldn't allow you back in ever again, even after like 10 years. I think I'm the first person to ever suggest making a new account not to ban evade but to ask for a "parole hearing" to try and have my permaban undone. There's no way you wouldn't be able to get back in to a site even after years and years had gone by. They can't keep you banned after you have created a new account on another computer IP and decided to use a mobile device to hide your true identity from thereon. I will get back in eventually.

Anyway, I just wanted to talk to you because along with AustinDR you are someone on here that I know from TV Tropes, and since I'm gonna be on here for a while, not only because I need to do something somewhere until I can sneak/appeal myself back in, but also because I want to make 501 edits so I can do a proposal for Sonic.EXE's re-inclusion in the PE category, I want to have friends to talk to for the time. You were banned before so you know how it feels. I am planning to have a new access point by Christmas. I might message you on TV Tropes if I get back in provided you can keep a secret. Still, I plan to one day get Sonic.EXE re approved on this site.

Oh, BTW, many of the characters I have gotten approved on TV Tropes are still missing from my CM sandbox page. The fanfic version of the Black Cat Demon for example. I was wondering if you could help add all of the characters I got approved to my sandbox.

    Talk to you soon.

  • Sorry if I had to undo your edits on Talia and Bane, I wanna show you something I asked on Samuel Husbands and JKWing's wall

Samuel Husbands wrote: I understand what you're saying. The reason I said they were both the two main antagonists is because Bane and Talia were partners and Bane wasn't really a decoy because he was the Supreme Commander of the League of Shadows and he does most of the evil work in the film. Usually Bane is the villain that Batman fights in the third film with hand-to-hand combat and that's his hardest enemy. Talia was the leader of the League of Shadows, but it was only like 18 minutes left of the movie when we found out she was evil. Is it okay if they were the two main villains?

    Larry1996 wrote: Sure

Samuel Husbands wrote: Okay thank you. And I do like your point.

JKWinning wrote: You are correct that Bane was Talia's protector and guardian in the Pit. That is an undeniable fact stated directly in the context of the film. However, the film demonstrated to my satisfaction that Bane was on top of the League of Shadows hierarchy based on how his men feared and admired him as their leader. The Scarecrow comparison isn't really accurate in my opinion. Scarecrow's working relationship with Ra's al Ghul was that of a hired third party needed to enact the plan. The closest analogy I can think of is that Talia is queen, who inherited her position after the death of her father, and that Bane is prime minister, who gained power based on his qualifications as a leader. The prime minister isn't subservient to the queen per se, and in some cases has more authority over her when it comes to making critical decisions.

So I agreed to the fact that they are both main antagonists, and that Barsad is the secondary antagonist

    • Bane is dispatched almost immediately after Talia's reveal which could be proof of his role being less significant in the plot than Talia's was and though he was more than a willing participant, you can see how she was for the most part the one pulling the strings and that she could qualify as a Bigger Bad than Bane because of it. One could argue Riddler qualifies as the main antagonist in Batman Forever because it was his plan and they could also argue that Two-Face was only a little more than a point man or that Two-Face was a more threatening and unpredictable opponent than Riddler. Then again, both duos are more like partners rather than one being superior over the other, so I can see both sides of the argument. I think my change was the more appropriate one to make though.
