After thinking about it, I would think that Drago be the main antagonist of the How to Train Your Dragon mainstream franchise, with Grimmel being the overarching antagonist.
I've removed a lot of false information saying that Grimmel was the one who caused the war between dragons and vikings, and dragons to raid villages (thus leading Drago to turn evil because he lost his arm and his village), because of that one act of him killing the very first Night Fury he met. There's no proof of this because dragons could've been raiding villages before Grimmel was even born, so there's no proof that Grimmel indirectly turned Drago evil.
There was also information claiming that:
Grimmel gifted Drago with his Night Fury cape. There's no proof of this because it's very possible that Drago picked it up from a dead carcass.
Grimmel's act of killing his Night Fury caused dragons to accept the Red Death's genocidal intent on mankind and thus started the war between dragons and vikings. There's no proof of this because we don't even know if the Red Death was genocidal, nor that Grimmel's first Night Fury kill caused the entire war.
Grimmel destroyed a few viking regions and blamed it on the dragons. There's no proof of this because we don't even know if Grimmel destroyed any Viking regions nor even sent someone to do it.
Besides, Grimmel only appears in The Hidden World, and while he did kill most of the Night Furies (which would explain why there wasn't much information about them in the Book of Dragons and why there was no tomb for Night Furies in Vanaheim in Race to the Edge), Drago is the overarching antagonist of Race to the Edge, the main antagonist of How to Train Your Dragon 2, and a posthumous antagonist of The Hidden World. Krogan worked for Drago, who wanted a Bewilderbeast, and Krogan was also associated with Johann and the Dragon Hunters.
Another thing is that while Grimmel knew Stoick the Vast, Drago is more of a personal threat than Grimmel because Drago was the one who burned down the hall using his dragons, and rode away with Krogan. Stoick knew that Drago was a madman who kills without reason and warned Hiccup about him. Also, Drago was behind the murder of Stoick the Vast; while he was intending for Toothless to kill Hiccup, Stoick took the blast instead, and when Drago found out, he just scoffed and walked away.
Thank you. So, could you please change his antagonistic status in the How to Train Your Dragon mainstream franchise from secondary to main while I change Grimmel's antagonistic status in the franchise from main to overarching? Drago's article is still locked, while Grimmel's article isn't.
Question is mostly why Drago just walks away when he was a perfect opportunity to eliminate his enemies? Plus after he's hijacked Toothless he just flies off to Berk without burning the whole vikings ships to pieces and killing all his enemies. He kills without reason, if he is so murderous why does he just neglect Hiccup and his tribe alive? Plus when they meet up again, he pathetically says; You certainly are hard to get rid of. He didn't even try, like wth.
And if Grimmel is not responsible for any of the crimes he committed in the past, how can he be the overarching villain? He is the one who had the opportunity to tame a dragon and instead killed it because he's cruel and mad and seeks to become known as a savior and hero in the viking era. Instead of seeking world domination which is a ubiquitous and common villain goal, he seeks to commit the greatest trick a liar ever played in history, to become charismatic and legendary.
Not to nullfy anyones job here, but it feels like you're just condemning one another just because you want one to become more popular than the other.
Yeah thats the reason why he may not have directly said it but its made pretty clear that he intends that if Esmerelda did not surrender herself to him and do whatever he wants he will kill her it may not outright said it but thats because of the age rating.
Have you a policy about Discord about pinging? Because I know I have a tendency to ping sometimes. It's just I notice some don't like that habit. Why I do this is just because I don't want to be ignored when I have a question or something that I think it's important.
Hey there, watch out for this user https://dcextendeduniverse.fandom.com/wiki/User:Christhewalrus and this https://dcextendeduniverse.fandom.com/wiki/Message_Wall:Zazsch
both are the same, the bottom is a backup if he's main fails, this particular user acts like a admin when hes not and will ceaselessly revert posts and works even with verified sources, I back traced him and found out hes being doing this to many fandom groups and he gotten countless of warnings and blocks, if he dislike you he will go to a edit war and he also ignores you in chats and give zero craps, as for my case in that dcex wiki he dislikes me just for editing stuff and I tried explaining and he didn't listen and now we are now in a war, he definetly saw my profile and the wikis I serve in, so im writing this warning as a heads up as he might come over and revert stuff I edited before. im writing this to all other admins on the groups im serving in, I don't want a war to spill to multiple groups
and yes heads up, if you talk to this guy in chat he is willing to drag it with long texts like a smart alec so becareful
im informing every high ranking member of every group I served in, so to spread the warning as wide as possible so its easier for you guys to counter the threat if it ever spills over to your respective groups and also if one is offline for a long while, other high ranking members can still see it cause they receive it, I don't want a war that's why im doing this, give you guys a heads up
