MetalTyrannomon is a minor antagonist in Digimon Tamers: Battle of Adventurers, Digimon Frontier, Digimon Fusion, and Digimon Adventure: (2020).
Biography[]
Digimon Tamers: Battle of Adventurers[]
A MetalTyrannomon attempted to bio-emerge into the real world, but failed when Omnimon manage to defeat him before he could get out.
Digimon Frontier[]
When Ophanimon told the DigiDestined the story of Cherubimon invading Seraphimon's castle, a MetalTyrannomon was one of the Digimon that joined the invasion. What happened to the MetalTyrannomon after the invasion is unknown.
Digimon Fusion[]
A Dripmon took the form of a MetalTyrannomon. They were aborbed by Splashmon so Splashmon can form; Splashmon Darkness Mode. In Season 3, a MetalTyrannomon was about to be captured by Astamon and Ryouma when Tagiru jumped in the way, allowing it to escape. Gumdramon then fought MetalTyrannomon, but was almost defeated. Tagiru Digivolved Gumdramon into Arresterdramon to finish off MetalTyrannomon, allowing Tagiru to capture him as well.
Digimon Adventure (2020)[]
A MetalTyrannomon is sent by Devimon to destroy the DigiDestined who prove to be no match for the Ultimate Digimon. When Ogremon intervenes, MetalTyrannomon brutally defeats Ogremon (although it is revealed later that he survived and Digivolved to Rebellimon).
MetalTyrannomon continues to relentlessly pursue the DigiDestined with Taichi and Greymon attempting to use Koshiro's analysis of MetalTyrannomon to gain the upper hand without success. Eventually, their determination and courage causes Greymon to digivolve into MetalGreymon who proves to be more than a match for MetalTyrannomon. Finally, MetalGreymon destroys MetalTyrannomon with his Giga Storm attack.
It's later revealed that Ogremon had in fact survived MetalTyrannomon's attack and digivolved into his Ultimate form of Rebellimon. However, Ogremon lost his memory in the process.
