~ Metal Man to Mega Man, Mega Man (Archie Comics)
Metal Man is one of the eight Robot Masters created by Dr. Wily in Mega Man 2, where he appears as a minor antagonist. He is a robot created specifically for combat for Wily's revenge against Mega Man. Metal Man is based on Cut Man.
Much like his basis, Metal Man was fitted with a lightweight chassis, but a flaw in his design makes him vulnerable to his own weapon.
Metal Man has a red armor, his legs are red but his feet are yellow, has two metal blades on his elbows and one on his forehead, he has three spheres on his body, one yellow on his chest and two red on his knees, his ears are pointed and yellow.

Mega Man 2[]
In battle, Metal Man will jumps shooting metal blades on Mega Man. His weakness are the Quick Boomerang and his own weapon, the Metal blade. When he's defeated, Mega Man gain the Metal Blade. Metal Man reappears in the boss rush where he's defeated again.
Mega Man 3[]
Metal Man appears during the middle of Mega Man 3. He appears in the Spark Man Stage. His powers are absorbed by the Doc Robot for a rematch against Mega Man. This time, Metal Man's powers are stronger and he is more focused.

Metal Man makes a cameo as CD data in Mega Man & Bass.

A Remix of Metal Man's theme can be played on the Wily Caste stage. Metal Man appears as a advanced primary grab spirit. His spirit battle is a stamina battleon the Wily Castle stage against tree brown Mega Man who have increased power on neutral special and favors the said move.
Mega Man cartoon (Ruby-Spears)[]
Metal Man appears in the anime version made by Ruby-Spears. This time, he is shown with completely red pupil-less eyes. Metal Man is also able to wield his blades like swords, in a similar manner to how Blade Man wields his own weapon.
