Metallix Mk.III, also known as Neo Metallix, is a major antagonist of the Sonic the Comic Online! webcomic. He is the latest Metallix model, created by Grimer in his scheme to destroy Sonic the Hedgehog's reputation.

Origin[]
After one too many defeats from Sonic, Dr. Ivo Robotnik completely lost his sanity and tried to destroy Mobius instead of ruling it, causing Grimer to quit his service and swear off working for him again. He, however, wanted to avenge his master, and did so with his plan to make the populace believe Sonic was evil all along. As part of it, he created a shapeshifting model of Metallix.
Sonic the Comic Online![]
After Grimer's Mega Mack attack on Metropolis Zone, Metallix Mk. III threatened the people of Mobius to accept him as his ruler unless they wanted more attacks like that to occur. After the real Sonic was knocked out, Metallix returned to the Emerald Hill while disguised as him, and attacked the Freedom Fighters. He later broke the imprisoned Sonic out of prison, trapping him underground, and took his place, allowing Amy to break him out, only to try and murder his rescuers right after. He went back into the cave Sonic was in, revealing himself to him, and pursued him for days. He was defeated when Sonic triggered a volcanic eruption, letting him escape to the surface while Metallix drowned in lava.
