Metyr, Mother of Fingers is a major antagonist and an optional boss in the 2022 dark fantasy action role-playing video game DLC Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. She is the mother of all Fingercreepers and Two Fingers, as well as the "daughter" of the Greater Will.
Appearance[]
Metyr appears to be an amalgamation of various fingers and limbs mixed together to form an airacnid-like entity. The front of her stomach appears to be a large opening where she births out Fingercreepers.
History[]
Metyr was presumably born some time much prior to the foundation of the Golden Order and fell down to the Lands Between as the first shooting star. She later arrived at the Land of Shadow at some point with the intent to carry out the order of the Greater Will. However, the Greater Will had abandoned her, causing her to lost contact with it.
Ultimately, she continued to fulfill her role and would birth the Two Fingers, as well as the Fingercreepers. She would act as their guidance, with her messages perceived as coming from directly the Greater Will itself.

- Metyr being a shooting star sent from the Greater Will suggests that she may have some relations to the Elden Beast, though what that relation is remains unclear.
- Metyr being the Mother of Fingers suggests that she may possibly be connected to the Three Fingers in some way, though this is never hinted at any point.
