Michael "Mickey" Pearson is the main protagonist of the 2019 Guy Ritchie crime/comedy film The Gentlemen.
Mickey is a very powerful English crime lord who mainly deals Cannabis and prefers other activities even if with less impact than the first. Mickey is a duke and knows many Lords and royal members or politicians or important English figures criminal and otherwise. During the film he tries to sell his business to Matthew the Cannabis becomes legal but the latter together with Fletcher and Dry Eye tries to tamper with his empire and make him lower the price for the business.
He works with Raymond Smith and he is his boss.
He was portrayed Matthew McConaughey who also portrayed Joe Cooper in Killer Joe,Vilmer Slaughter in Texas Chainsaw Massacre: A New Generation, Adam Meiks in Frailty, and Randall Flagg in The Dark Tower.
Personality[]
Mickey has a very calm personality, he dislikes war and prefers to handle things in an intelligent and calculating manner, however when he loses control he becomes extremely ruthless if his family is harmed even worse, he often seeks revenge and has no compunction in killing anyone who is in his way. He has a selfish and arrogant personality towards others and also seems to have some psychopathic and sociopatich tendencies.
Biography[]
Pearson was born into poverty in the United States and after a bit of school he sold marijuana at a young age making money. Publisher Big Dave after being snubbed at a party by Mickey hires an investigator called Fletcher to find links between him and his criminal empire and the connection to Lord Pressfield.
Fletcher however offers his findings as a script which he sells to Pearson's right-hand man Raymond for 20 million pounds. After a group of MMA YouTubers "The Toddlers" attack a Pearson lab their MMA teacher decides to work for Pearson to apologize. The latter captures a Dry Eye henchman along with Raymond Smith but this henchman dies hit by a car.
Fletcher arrives at Raymond's house and begins to tell a story after leaving Raymond discovers the Lord and Dry Eye's plans, the latter attacks a Pearson building and attacks his wife almost raping her.
Mickey arrives and kills him, Raymond then takes the body and takes it to the Lord who was making a deal with him and the latter under threat buys the business and Fletcher is kidnapped by Raymond shortly before he was going to America in Los Angeles to sell the screenplay under the name of Bush.
