Biography[]
Background[]
Michael Keane is a capo/soldier in the Irish mob family, the McReary Crime Family, along with Gordon Sargent. In most of his cutscenes, he is mocked for being stupid or being inbred by Patrick and Gerald alike. Both Gordon and Michael were usually assigned with doing theft-related jobs. For an unknown reason, Michael is usually referred to as "Saint Michael".
Events in Grand Theft Auto IV[]
Eventually by 2008, Packie is assigned by Ray Boccino to ambush the Ancelotti Family, and decides to go along with Michael, Gordon and his personal friend and hired gun, Niko Bellic. The ambush goes successfully, with Niko being rewarded with $8,000 from Packie.
Soon after, Packie plans a bank robbery of the Bank of Liberty, along with Michael, his brother, Derrick and Niko. At first the robbery goes smoothly, that is until one of the hostages, Eugene Reaper, pulls out a pistol and murders Michael. In a fit of rage, both Packie, Derrick and Niko murder Eugene, in order to avenge Michael's death. While in the running away from the cops underground, Niko calms down Packie and Derrick by saying that it was no one's fault that Michael died, with Packie angry at himself for not apologizing to being rude to Michael for years.
Events in Grand Theft Auto V[]
If Packie is picked for the Paleto Bay Score, he will recount the events of the Bank of Liberty heist, still grieving Michael's death.
