Michael Matthews, also known as the Family Man, is a minor antagonist in the Riverdale episode "Halloween".
He was portrayed by Ben Cotton, who also voiced Rex Igneous in The Dragon Prince, and portrayed Bishop in Scar 3D.
Biography[]
Michael Matthews is a serial killer who escaped from Shady Grove Treatment Center. After escaping from the asylum, he killed a trucker and stole the trucker’s clothes and vehicle. His preferred method of killing is forcing his victims to cook meals for him before brutally murdering them.
One night, he stops at Pop’s Diner where Veronica happens to be working. He tricks Veronica into cooking dinner for him before Veronica learns the truth about his true intentions through some breaking news that happens to be playing on TV. Michael chases Veronica into the speakeasy in the basement of the diner where Veronica burns him to death in self-defense.
