Michael Willard is an antagonist in the Chicago P.D. episode "Pain Killer".
He was portrayed by Kevin Sizemore.
Biography[]
Past[]
Willard was a prison guard at a juvenile hall center who was also secretly affiliated with the G Park Lord Gang and often gave them names of cooperative witnesses in exchange for a large sum of money. He was also a sadist who enjoyed and turned a blind eye to the witnesses being bullied. When Darius Tatum was imprisoned after having been a lookout at a robbery, it never fell through for he was marked as a snitch in prison courtesy of Willard.
Pain Killer[]
That night, Det. Jay Halstead tells his sergeant that he looked into Willard after suspected him of hiding something and after questioning his CI, he found something major. It is confirmed Darius was telling the truth that Willard was the one who outed him, and that Willard was on the payroll for the G-Park Lords. Jay reveals Darius was not the only victim because Willard has been giving the gang informants or witnesses and he has been doing this for years. Voight was surprised and angry by this, as Jay says they have enough to build a case against him. With that, Voight ordered Jay to get a warrant to dig into his financial records and states “Let's see how this prick does on the other side of the bars”.
Willard was presumably exposed after Intelligence gathered enough evidence to confirm his criminal involvement. He was subsequently in prison for conspiracy, bribery, and obstruction of justice.
