Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame is a major antagonist in the 2022 dark fantasy action role-playing video game DLC Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. He was a man that sought out to become the Lord of Frenzied Flame but had to endure immense pain in doing so.
He is voiced by Connor Bryne.
History[]
Very little is known regarding Midra's background, besides that he had lived in a manse and had a companion by his side known as Nanaya. It is believed that he had committed an act of sin that led him to sought out becoming the Lord of Frenzied Flame, before being impaled by the Greatsword of Damnation. The golden barbs pierced into his body forced him to endure the pain, long enough that they spread throughout his entire body.
When the Tarnished arrived to his manse, he attempts to warn them, telling them to turn back to where they came. The Tarnished refused, however and when they came across Midra himself, he attempted to kill them but was beaten very easily. Having endured enough suffering, Midra proceeded to rip the Greatsword of Damnation out of his body, taking his head off his body, before effectively transforming himself into the Lord of Frenzied Flame.
He then proceeded to fight the Tarnished with his once more with his new found power. However, this was still not enough and the Tarnished managed to defeat Midra, finally ending his madness and suffering.
