~ Milk’s catchphrase throughout the film

Milk otherwise known as Marshall is the main protagonist villain of the 2024 found footage horror film, Milk & Serial. He is portrayed by the films Director Curry Baker.

Biography[]

Little is known about Milk’s past other than that he admitted to having murdered a cat when he was only seven indicating that he has had psychopathic tendencies since he was a child. At some point, he met up with Seven (real name Steven) and with his help created a channel called Prankster Bros where they made a pack they will go as brutal as they can go on each other. While they were pulling these pranks on each other, milk was secretly kidnapping women and taking them to a warehouse on a hill where he would proceed to torture and kill them. Eventually, Seven would block Milk out of their YouTube account due to the fact that his pranks weren’t that creative resulting in milk deciding to get revenge on him.

Milk & Serial[]

Two days before his birthday party, Milk acquired the help of a 73 year old actor named Greg Harris, who was living with his son Frank. Unbeknownst to milk seven had set up his own prank involving one of his classmates in an acting class shooting his friend Naomi with a gun filled with blanks. After the prank, he had Greg come knock on the door during the party and to complain about the loud noise and then had him stalk him, Naomi, and his second friend Link around on their way home. The same night, Milk travels to Lara‘s house in order to return her jacket (which he stole) only to then kidnap her and take him to his warehouse on a hill and breaks up with Naomi for Laura over text before leaving her tied up there.

Eventually, the next morning, Greg is there to continue terrifying Seven by wandering around their house and at one point pretending to try and commit suicide with a gun. As a result, Milk decides to invite himself and seven over for dinner at the man’s place tonight which Seven is hesitant about which is when Naomi returns completely upset at having been “dumped” by Lara. Later he goes over to Greg’s place and tries to explain the plan of drugging his friend with wine, which Greg completely refuses, but eventually is won over at the promise that they don’t film it. After buying some wine from the grocery store, the two head over to Greg’s place for dinner and during the meal, Greg retails this fake story about how his father tricked him into drinking his mother‘s blood before Seven passes out from the drugged wine with Milk playing along. Milk and Greg then take Seven into the middle of the desert and tie both him and Milk up at which point Greg tells the two of them to either kill one or the other or he’ll shoot both of them. After Milk, blind spray with some sand, he tells seven to grab the gun and shoot him after which he reveals that it was all just a prank and that Greg was just an actor helping him out. He was all fine until the Seven realizes that Greg wasn’t actually acting, but is actually dead because milk had swapped out the blanks for real bullets to which you then gaslight Seven into believing that it was his fault.

Worried that the two might go to jail Milk manipulates Seven into helping him hide his body but first needing to collect some shovels from Home Depot he forgot to bring some. After almost getting caught by a police officer, they headed to another part of town where they buried Greg’s body in the dirt before heading home leaving Seven completely traumatized. Milk then returns to the warehouse where Lara is still tied up and weak from lack of food or water, to which milk decides to put her out of her misery by violently beating her to death. The next morning after seven finds out that Milk told both Naomi and Link about the prank. He attacked him and started punching him only for both Lincoln and Naomi to intervene and stop them with Seven telling both of them to get out and tells Milk that he’s decided to quit the channel. Despite this Milk continues to mess with the Seven making him hear voices in the house and texting seven through Greg’s phone in order to taunt him. Eventually Greg’s son Frank arrives at the house to ask about the whereabouts of his father, to which they try to explain that he just up and left and they hadn’t heard from him since, to which Frank interprets as him going to Vegas. But after Frank uses a phone tracker to find his father‘s phone and receiving a text from him, he decides to confront the two to demands they tell him where his father is. Milk decides that the only way to get out of this situation is for them to kill Frank to, and once again manipulates Seven into helping carry out with the murder.

After the two come up with a plan to take out, Greg seven goes into his apartment while wearing camera fitted glasses in order to lure Frank into the bathroom so that Milk can kill him with a knife. Everything goes according to plan with Milk stabbing Frank in the jugular with the knife, causing him to bleed out and eventually die and leaving Seven more traumatized than he was before. After Milk, retrieve some trash bags from his apartment in order to dispose of Frank’s body, Seven just basically begs him to just turn him in and let him pay the piper for all the deaths they’ve caused which milk flat out, refuses before cleaning up the blood and completely disposing of the body. It is from here that we finally learn that Milk’s true goal was to basically to gaslight seven and push him point of suicide also we can get back at him for saying that he wasn’t creative. Unfortunately for Milk, he turns around to see Seven in the doorway pointing a gun at him, having just heard everything he had just admitted before shooting in point blank and then turning the gun on himself. Weather It’s unknown if Seven was successful and killing Milk as at the end of the credits the camera begins to move slightly, implying that milk may have survived the gunshot.

Personality[]

Milk first presents himself as being goofy and tricky and willing to do whatever it takes to make his plans go well. He enjoys playing very extreme pranks on his friends and just borderline push them as far as they can go like at one point tricking his friend Seven into thinking he had gone blind. Personality also borderline on being rather childish as he is also shown to be rather vindictive after Seven decides block him from their YouTube account and tries gets his vengeance in the most horrific way possible all because he thought that he wasn’t that creative.

behind his goofy personality milk is possibly the very definition of a psychopath showing to take great sadistic pleasure in inflicting pain on other people. He also shows sociopathic and narcissistic tendencies as he shows no remorse for any of the lives he’s taken or the people he’s hurt and seems to care more about himself and his own life. He also seems to view what he does as a form of art and thinks of himself higher and better than any other serial killer out there, including Jeffrey Dahmer. He’s also shown to be quite arrogant and never seems to see the error of his ways and convinces himself he is a good person despite everything he has done.
