Millenniummon is one of the two overarching antagonists (alongside King Drasil) of Digimon franchise. It served as the overarching antagonist of Digimon Adventure 02, a major antagonist in the 2020 reboot of Digimon Adventure, and the main antagonist and final boss in the Digimon Wonderswan games and the original Digimon Battle Spirit game.
He was created as a result of DNA Digivolution from a Kimeramon and Machinedramon (the same Digimon that is one of the Dark Masters). It serves as a catalyst to the Digimon universe. In the reboot of Digimon Adventure, it serves as the Digidestined’s arch-nemesis and sworn enemy.
Appearance[]
Millenniummon is a Mega Level Digimon. It’s physical appearance is a mixed form of both the overwhelming power possessed by Machinedramon and the data of various powerful Digimon possessed by Kimeramon. It appears as a grotesque beast demon creature with four long black claws, two huge long feet with red claws, Kimeramon's head and Machinedramon's Giga Cannons on its back. Also on its back is a strange fiery aura in a shape of a winged dragon-like creature that acts as some kind of skin coat like the one Gabumon has on him at all times.
As Moon=Millenniummon, it resembles its soul inside a giant dark crystal.
As ZeedMillenniummon, it resembles a darker soul of itself with a mixture of blue and red, and wears green digital headbands. During the ancient Digimon war, ZeedMillenniummon was bandless.
It is also considered responsible for Ken Ichijouji's transformation into the Digimon Emperor.
Biography[]
It is said that Milleniummon is impossible to defeat, and at present the unclear cause of its fusion is being ascertained, but it is unlikely that any clues will be found.
Digimon Adventure: Anode/Cathode Tamer[]
Milleniummon is newly created when Kimeramon just fused with Machinedramon into a evil single powerful Digimon that is pure evil. Completely strong, it successfully defeated DigiDestined and the four gods of Digimon Sovereigns. Its power is very greater, it destroys many innocent creatures. Milleniummmon imprisons the Digidestined, except Agumon. It revives many previous enemies defeated by our heroes, so that it can have them as loyal minions.

Digimon Adventure (2020)[]
Millenniummon appears as the third main antagonist after the death of Devimon, and is also known as the ultimate weapon born of darkness.
During the ancient Holy Digimon war, Cherubimon led the Holy Digimon to fight Millenniummon’s dark forces and defeat them. However, ZeedMillenniummon, the ultimate weapon of darkness, was unable to be controlled and attacks, proving to be too much for the Army of Light. Cherubimon is eventually destroyed, but he is later reborn as Lopmon. As everyone else falls, ZeedMillenniummon is opposed by six hero Digimion, Phoenixmon, MetalGarurumon, HerculesKabuterimon, WarGreymon, Rosemon, and Vikemon and two Holy Digimon, Seraphimon and Ophanimon. After the other Digimon four Digimon were sacrificed and destroyed, Seraphimon and Ophanimon triggered WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon to DNA Digivolve into Omnimon. Empowered by the souls of all of the fallen Digimon, Omnimon defeats ZeedMillenniummon with one strike of his sword.
However, peace was not completely restored and the remaining shards of ZeedMillenniummon rained down on the Digital World, plaguing it with darkness, and Millenniummon’s soul survives and remains as Moon=Millenniummon. The destroyed Mega Digimon that fought Millenniummon would later be reborn as the DigiDestined’s Digimon partners Agumon, Gabumon, Biyomon, Tentomon, Palmon and Gomamon. Of the two Holy Digimon, Seraphimon was heavily injured and reverted back into his Champion form of Angemon who got caught in the dark miasma infesting the Cloud Continent. Ophanimon died of her injuries from the battle and became a Digi-Egg that was captured by Millenniummon's followers and corrupted, turning her into SkullKnightmon.
As the DigiDestined journey through the Digital World to stop Millenniummon from being revived, several of Moon=Millenniummon’s followers, the Vademon try to restore their master’s body. Another servant of Millenniummon, Mephistomon, attempts to revive his master by sacrificing weaker Digimon, but was defeated by Matt and WereGarurumon Sagittarius Mode. Moon=Millenniummon’s other servant, Sakkakumon, kidnaps Tai, Matt, Izzy, and T.K and their Digimon partners, forcing them to battle copies of their defeated opponents from the past, including Devimon (who was given a new body due to his connection with Angemon). After Angemon absorbs Devimon and digivolves to MagnaAngemon and destroys the Sakakkumon orb, Sakakkumon collects the data from the Digidestined’s Digimon partners.
As the Digidestined arrive in FAGA, Moon=Millenniummon’s servant Sakakkumon creates Machinedramon to attack the Digidestined. After WarGreymon and Tai defeat Machinedramon, its remains turned into dark clouds as Sakkakumon as Kimeramon prepares to fuse with Moon=Millenniummon. The incomplete Kimeramon creates a Gryphonmon to distract MetalGarurumon and Matt while Sora, Izzy, Garudamon, and MegaKabuterimon try to stop Millenniummon’s revival and fight the Vademon, but they were too late as Moon=Millenniummon fuses with Kimeramon, killing his Vademon servants, and becomes Millenniummon.
After Millenniummon’s revival, it captures the Digidestined and their Digimon partners, and traps them in a dark orb held by its mouth (except for Tai and WarGreymon, who survived the explosion of Machinedramon’s remaining body). Tai and WarGreymon appear before Millenniummon to oppose it and engage in a battle. At first, Millenniummon seems to have the upper hand against WarGreymon, but he and Tai refused to back down and strike Millenniummon in the mouth, releasing the captured Digidestined. T.K. and Kari manage to Digivolve Patamon and Gatomon to their new Mega forms, Goldramon and Magnadramon to oppose Millenniummon. Millenniummon’s cannons melted away after trying to blast the two dragons to oblivion. Goldramon and Magnadramon manage to defeat Millenniummon, but its soul rises up and becomes ZeedMillenniummon once again in a final attempt to annihilate the entire Digital World, but the friendly Digimon who the Digidestined met with on their journey gave their hope and light to power up WarGreymon’s Terra Force attack, further empowered by Goldramon and Magnadramon's energy, and destroys Millenniummon for good, putting an end to its reign of terror once and for all.
When Tai encounters Valkyrimon, she reveals that the great power that can stop the Great Catastrophe is the same power that had destroyed ZeedMillenniummon the first time: Omnimon. Valkyrimon shows Tai a full vision of Millenniummon's initial destruction, including how Seraphimon and Ophanimon triggered the digivolution and how Omnimon destroyed Millenniummon with just one strike from his sword.
