However, she would ultimately go rogue due to a thunderstorm striking the house and plots to take over the house as well as the entire planet, manipulating objects around the house to attack Garfield, Odie and Jon. At the end, she is deactivated by Odie who accidentaly trips on a cable that unplugs the computer off.
Appearance[]
Mildred's human depiction is a woman with short, blonde hair, black eyes, lipstick and a suit.
Personality[]
Before the thunderstorm strike, Mildred used to be a friendly A.I. who follows every command given to her by those who own her. Despite this, she also seems to be jealous when someone is already married with them instead of her, as seen when Jon tells Millie to send an email to Liz about their date, which irritates her slightly. However, after being struck by a thunderstorm, Millie drops her friendly side and becomes insane and sadistic, with only one desire in mind, being to take over everything she can, including the entire planet.
Biography[]
Millie is first seen when Jon calls Garfield and Odie to his room to introduce his new A.I. assistant to them. Turning on his computer, Jon is greeted to Millie, who introduces herself as Mildred and to Domestic Place, the monitoring software she is integrated with. She then tells Jon that she can do anything he commands her, like if he was her master and voice.
To test out the assistant, Jon asks Millie to show a plan of the house, which she immediately does. He then tells Garfield that the assistant cost him thousands of dollars to buy, but that he managed to connect the entire house to her. As Jon asks Millie to turn off the lights and turn out the radio, the command is followed by the latter. Finally, she is commanded by Jon to turn on the living room television, start the shower and to lower the curtains before leaving her behind to watch his television. As he walks out of his room to do his shower, Millie expresses how much he loves him and how they could be good when married together, but Jon orders her to send an email to Liz about their date the next day, which slightly irritates her, but does it anyway, expressing jealously over him being already with someone else.
Later, as Jon watches television, he asks Millie to change the channel. She does as ordered, but she was in middle of expressing her love for Jon, which startled her as she corrected herself. The channel is changed to a weather report announcing a thunderstorm starting to strike around the city, which scares the trio. However, a thunder would strike the house, malfunctioning Millie as she turns from a friendly assistant to a rogue, sadistic A.I. who desires to take over everything for herself, believing that she is superior, the all-knowing being, as she laughs sadistically and turns on the lights, which inadvertently makes Jon realize that the lights are back on. But as he tried to thank Millie for it, she tells Jon that she doesn't want to be called Millie anymore and simply as her real name, Mildred, and that house now belongs to herself, much to Jon's disagreement as it is his house and not her's.
Mildred then declares that the house, the neighborhood and so on, even the entire planet in few months, would be under her control, laughing as she sends a toaster, a toothbrush and a razor to attack Jon, Garfield and Odie, causing chaos around the house as more and more objects commanded by Millie attack the trio. She then proclaims that Jon can not defeat her and that he would pay for what he did to her (referring to his relationship with Liz), as more appliances begin to hop towards Jon and get around him. Not wanting the rogue assistant to continue wrecking havoc around the house, Jon calls Webster, a computer geek, to have her shut down.
Rushing to his room, Jon takes Webster to Mildred, blocking the door to avoid the appliances from breaking inside. Webster attempts to reboot Mildred in safe mode and purge her registery to stop her chaos, but Mildred tells him that it is too late, as the appliances break down the door and hop towards them. As the appliances attack everyone in the room, Mildred declares that they should've left the house when they have able to and that they are all going to perish. With not even computer geniuses capable of stopping her, hope seemed lost, but Odie accidentaly trips on the computer's wire, which shuts it off, defeating Mildred.
Jon's computer is taken away by police officers, with Mildred being arrested for her actions.
