Milton Howard is the minor antagonist of The Mentalist TV-show. He is a business manager who turns out to be a thief and a murderer. He was played by Ernie Grunwald.

Biography

Milton and his partner stole money from their company. After the partner was no longer needed, Milton killed him. However, Teresa Lisbon exposed him (characteristically, she did it without the help of Patrick Jane). To avoid arrest, Milton decided to get rid of Teresa Lisbon. Killing her would be too suspicious, so he decided to frame her. He learned that she had once put a pedophile named William McTier in prison. He decided to kill him and frame Teresa Lisbon. To do this, he hired her personal psychiatrist Roy Carmen. However, Roy accidentally let Teresa know that he had knowledge about William's death that only a killer could know. Patrick Jane, who was next to Teresa, heard this. Roy was arrested and turned Milton in. Milton was also arrested.
