The Mimic Ghost is a minor antagonist in Sonic Rivals 2. They are a shapeshifting ghost that takes the form of Sonic and Tails in Mystic Haunt Zone.
It was voiced by Jason Griffith while impersonating Sonic and Amy Palant while impersonating Tails.
Appearance[]
It's unknown what the Mimic Ghost looks like normally, however, when impersonating Sonic or Tails, they look nearly identical to the real deals, except for the fact that they have red eyes. During the cutscenes, the Mimic Ghost appears to have a ghostly tail and no legs, however, during gameplay it's shown to have legs and a translucent appearance.
History[]
Sonic and Tails went to the Mystic Haunt Zone to investigate clues about the Ifrit and search for the portal to his domain. The Mimic Ghost, aware of their arrival took shape into their forms and chased them before losing to them. Sonic and Tails encountered them again when they confronted Eggman Nega under the disguise of Eggman and tricks them into believing that he is possessed by a ghost. They defeated him and the ghost.
Powers and abilities[]
The Mimic Ghost is able to copy the appearance of others by shapeshifting, and it can even copy the abilities of the person that they impersonate.
