Miner 49 first appeared in the original series episode of 78 entitled Mine Your Own Buisness in which he was the titular villain brandishing a pick axe terrorizing the miners and inhabitants of the local area surrounding the mine of he once worked.
He because of his pale complexion was mistaken by the Mystry Inc. to be an acutal ghost but was In fact a man in a costume trying to gain vengeance upon those who had wronged him.
Mine Your Own Buisness
First and only appearence of the series in the original 78 episode which became the inspiration for the later live action adaption Monsters Unleashed.
Monsters Unleashed
The Miner 49 appeared in the second and final cinema live action debut Monsters Unleashed as a costume transformed by Jonathan Jacobo into an actual monster using carbon composition and Pandemonium.
He breathed fire and was outsmarted by Shaggy and Scooby-Doo using Scooby's gas to repel his flames scaping from his mouth.
He was eventually returned to fabric form by Scooby Doo and was the 7th monster to be released.
Mystery Incorporated
Miner 49er's costume is presented by Velma in the Crystal Cove monster museum along with Captain Cutler's Ghost, Space Kook, and Charlie the Robot.
