Mirror Dimension Eggman is a minor antagonist in the television series Sonic Boom, serving as the overarching antagonist of the episode "Two Good to Be True." He is a version of Dr. Eggman from an alternate universe who fights off against his universe's Knuckles the Echidna.
He was portrayed by Mike Pollock in English and by Kotaro Nakamura in Japanese. Both also voiced Lord Eggman and the prime dimension Eggman in the same show as well as voiced Eggman in the modern game series.
Appearence[]
Dr. Eggman is identical in appearence to the main Dr. Eggman, being a large man with a bald head and a big mustache. The only difference between the two is that this Eggman has a green outfit instead of a red one.
Personality[]
Given his short amount of screen time, not much of Dr. Eggman's personality is known. However, it can be assumed that he shares the same egotistical and supervillanous tendencies as the main Eggman. However, he seems to be smarter and more competent that the main Eggman, since eveyone in this Eggman's dimension has their personality traits filpped on their head. This is backed up by the fact that he was able to create a device that sent Knuckles to another dimension.
History[]
Dr. Eggman's dimension is simular to the main Sonic Boom dimension, however, all of the characters have the opposite personalities of their main universe selves. This means that, Sonic the Hedgehog is an incompetent fool, and that Knuckles the Echidna is Dr, Eggman's powerful arch enemy.
Dr. Eggman was first seen attacking Knuckle's team on the beach with his Octopus Bot mech and his army of robots. Durring the battle, he shot a purple beam and Knuckles. This beam sent Knuckles into an alternate dimension. While not seen again, his robots were shown swarming Knuckles and Sonic after the former returned.
Trivia[]
- Despite only appearing for a few minutes out of entire series, Dr. Eggman has his own action figure in the Sonic Boom toyline.
