Mirror Face is a minor antagonist in Yakuza Like A Dragon. He's an efficient assassin who can impersonate everyone, mimicking every charateristic of the target, including their voice.
While impersonating Adachi is voiced by Akio Otsuka.
Biography[]
Mirror Face was hired by the Omi Alliance to impersonate the detective Koichi Adachi and kill the former lieutenant of the Omi, Jo Sawashiro, after he was arrested for killing Seiryu Clan's chairman Ryuhei Hoshino. After Kasuga and his group confront Ishioda in his hideout in Ijincho, Mirror Face has a struggle with the real Adachi, making diffcult to Ichiban who's the real one. However, after Ichiban asks some questions about traffic laws, Mirror Face gets punched by Ichiban, for answering correctly, having overestimated Adachi's knowldege about traffic laws, despite he was a traffic inspector.
Mirror Face fights alongside Ishioda, against Ichiban's party, but they gets defeated. Having heard about Ishioda's defeat, Aoki and the Omi Lieutenant Yosuke Tendo order to one of his underling to detonate the bomb hidden at Ishioda's office. However Mirror Face survives and temporarily allies with Ichiban to take revenge against Aoki.
After Ichiban defeats Tendo at the Millenium Tower, Mirror Face disguises as him and hides his body, tending a trap against Aoki, calling him in his office, claiming to have defeated Ichiban and his allies. After Aoki sees the party "defeated", Aoki orders their execution, ignoring he was caught on camera by Joon-Gi Han and Saeko Mukoda. After they upload the video on the public, Mirror Face escapes before the confrontation between the party and Aoki and his bodyguards, having succeeded in ruining Aoki's reputation.
Personality[]
Having always seen disguised as someone else, very little is known about his personality. As an assassin, he seems as a consummate professional, doing hard researchs on his target. He also don't tolerate betrayal from his clients.
Powers and Skills[]
- Master of Disguise: Mirror Face is able to completely impersonate anyone, from their aspect to their voice
- Fighting Skills: As disguised as Adachi, he mimics his fighting style. Unlike Adachi, he's also a good knife wielder
