Mirsky is a minor antagonist in Metro Exodus.
He is voiced by Dave B. Mitchell in English, who also voiced Klim in the same game.
Background[]
Overview[]
Mirsky is the deputy head of the Hanza Special Department and the commander of the radio jamming station outside of Moscow, being responsible for making sure that it is not known from around the world. This makes him one of the few officers responsible for covering up the truth regarding life above the surface to the residents of Moscow Metro.
Metro Exodus[]
After seeing the supply train pass through a forbidden area, Artyom and Anna are apprehended by a Hanza patrol. Informing the station commander of the circumstances and their catch, the patrol radios ahead. Artyom sneaks inside the station and, with Yermak's assistance, is able to access the command centre after being shot and falling into the mass grave. He hears Anna and the Major debating if Artyom really died and who her father is. Miller is aware of the entire issue, the Major asserts in response to her pleadings.
Mirsky and his subordinate are subdued in the other room after Artyom enters and causes a disturbance. But as Artyom and Anna embrace, he kicks her in the head with a chair and struggles for control of Artyom's Kalash, unintentionally firing the control panel, thus putting the jammers offline.
In order for Moscow to "play dead" to the rest of the world and prevent further retaliatory attacks, Hanza blocks the communications when the jammer is taken down and informs the couple that the conflict is still underway. After pressing an alarm button, Mirsky then grabs for a button, at which moment Anna knocks him unconscious.
Metro 2035[]
Artyom finds a jamming station that is comparable to the one in Metro 2035, although it lacks the supply and train depot shown in Exodus. While Artyom's attack on the station results in the death of a person resembling Mirsky, he is never recognized and does not provide any context for the station's function.
