Misato Ishizaki is a criminal who targets robots nicknamed "Robot Hunter Misato" and an antagonist in episode 11 of Tokusou Robo Janperson. She is used by the Tatewaki Konzern to target Janperson.

She is portrayed by Yuka Hashimoto.

Biography

Misato's older brother Takeshi was a researcher in the field of robotics, and Misato would visit him every day when she finished school. After her brother was tragically killed, Misato came across her brother's final invention, a robotic double of himself that he had yet to finish before he died. Vowing to finish it to bring back her brother, Misato began targeting robots that held the parts she needed to complete it, earning her the nickname "Robot Hunter Misato" in the criminal underworld.

Among the robots Misato targeted was a robot named "Johnny" used by a crime syndicate, leading the syndicate to vow revenge on her. Misato was later approached by Sarah, a secretary to Ryuzaburo Tatewaki, who persuaded her that Janperson held the final part she needed to complete Takeshi's robot doppelganger. As Misato went out to face Janperson, Sarah went to the crime syndicate Misato had run afoul of and told them where Misato was, hoping to use them to kill her and cover the Tatewaki Konzern's tracks. As Misato was fighting Janperson, the crime syndicate's goons fired a bazooka at them both, but Janperson dodged the attack and saved Misato. After driving the goons off, Janperson treated the leg wound Misato had suffered, leading her to doubt her quest.

The Tatewaki Konzern later broke into the Ishizaki lab and stole the Takeshi robot, leading Misato to go to a warehouse to get him back. There, the Takeshi robot was reprogrammed to be hostile and sent after Janperson. Janperson reluctantly destroyed the Takeshi robot before going and incapacitating the syndicate goons, before Misato shot at him and tried to kill him to avenge her brother's robot. It was at that point that Sarah activated the bombs she had secretly placed inside the warehouse to kill everyone there, but Janperson called upon his car and got Misato and the goons out safely. Misato then tried one more time to shoot Janperson, but was stopped by her late brother's colleague, and was then persuaded by Janperson to move on from her brother.
