Miss Minutes is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Ravonna Renslayer) of the Disney+ Marvel Cinematic Universe series Loki. She is a cartoon walking clock A.I that can be summoned by pushing the Miss Minutes button on a TemPad. However, it is later revealed that she is the creation and second-in-command to the TVA's hidden leader He Who Remains, being heavily obsessive of her creator.
She is voiced by Tara Strong, who also played Harley Quinn in most of the DC Media.
Personality[]

At first glance, Miss Minutes is portrayed as cheerful, polite and well-spoken artificial intelligence, with a strong sense of loyalty to the TVA and is also rather jokeful from time to time. While she is friendly most of the time, she does get often annoyed and even impatient with Loki's mannerisms. However, Miss Minutes later reveals her much more sinister persona. As the mascot of the TVA and He Who Remains' direct agent, she is incredibly manipulative and is even a bit twisted, as demonstrated when she tries to make a deal with Loki and Sylvie via her creator, and stalling the file searches for Renslayer.
As the series progresses, Miss Minutes gradually reveals her true nature, namely as a twisted and obsessive artificial intelligence with a sadistic side. Miss Minutes was in love with He Who Remains and even sought to gain a physical body so she can be his true "girl". Due to her love of her creator, she was incredibly envious and jealous of Ravenslayer when the latter formed a bond with Victor Timely, and persuaded Timely to abandon her. She also grew obsessive of Timely, trying to make him her lover, but when Timely rejects her, she quickly shows hatred to him, stating he would never become like He Who Remains. She also showed her sadistic nature when she decided to kill Dox and her loyalists with the Time Cube, watching with absolute glee as the cube slowly crushed them all to death.
Biography[]
Past[]
Miss Minutes was created by He Who Remains. According to Miss Minutes, she was originally created to be a companion of the scientist, serving him for eons to the point that she predated the Multiversal War. She was initially used in a propaganda video about the TVA history and, subsequently, as the TVA mascot.
From all the TVA members, Miss Minutes was the only one that knew about the true leader and founder of the TVA, He Who Remains.
Loki[]
Miss Minutes first appeared in “Glorious Purpose”, When Loki was brought into the Time Variance Authority Office, Miss Minutes spoke from one of the television screens and gave an introduction of who the Time Variance Authority was, who the Time-Keepers were, and a history of how the Sacred Timeline was created.
Miss Minutes was tasked to help Loki during his training to work with the Time Variance Authority. During the training, Loki became bored and began to try and swat Miss Minutes with his newspaper, leading her to transport herself back into the computer.
Helping Ravonna[]
Later, Miss Minutes was called upon by Ravonna Renslayer in the courtroom to look up the origins of the Time Variance Authority in order to provide answers for Sylvie. As Miss Minutes was scrolling through the files, Renslayer stopped her and asked her to look for a "Void timecraft". When it was evident that there was no such thing, Miss Minutes left.
Miss Minutes was again called by Renslayer and asked to continue searching for the TVA's origins and who created the TVA.
Confronting Loki and Sylvie[]
Miss Minutes greeted Loki and Sylvie inside the Citadel at the End of Time, startling them by appearing suddenly in a confrontational manner. Miss Minutes explained that He Who Remains has a deal for them and that He Who Remains could put Loki and Sylvie back onto the timeline without disrupting it. She added that they could live the lives they've always wanted.
When asked by Loki what it was that they wanted, she got onto him and told him that he could win the Battle of New York, kill Thanos, own the Infinity Gauntlet, and take over the throne of Asgard. She then offered Sylvie the chance to wake up with a lifetime of happy memories. Miss Minutes added that He Who Remains could also make it possible for Sylvie and Loki to be together on the timeline, and have anything they desired together. However, Sylvie responded that it was fiction. Loki agreed, stating that they would write their own destinies. Miss Minutes' demeanor changed as she was now upset by their decision and left them.
Miss Minutes returned to the Time Variance Authority and appeared in Ravonna Renslayer's office to speak with her. After being asked where she'd been, she replied that she had to take care of something else first. After giving Renslayer the files, Renslayer told her that she didn't request those files, but Miss Minutes told her that "he" wanted her to have those, before departing off.
Trying to Take Control of the TVA[]
Renslayer and Miss Minutes subsequently enacted a backup plan of He Who Remains to have his variant Victor Timely take his place, manipulating the man for their own benefit. However, this plan started to fall apart when the TVA managed to track the pair down through Renslayer's TemPad and sought to get Victor's help to fix the Temporal Loom. Miss Minutes revealed her true colors to Victor, even attempting to betray Renslayer, but he managed to deactivate her on Renslayer's TemPad. After being sent back to the Citadel at the End of Time, Miss Minutes revealed to Renslayer that she had once been the commander of He Who Remains' army and his partner before He Who Remains betrayed Renslayer and had her memories erased. As such, Miss Minutes proposed that they simply take control of the TVA themselves.
Traveling to the TVA, Renslayer tried to recruit General Dox and her Minutemen but Dox, recognizing that Renslayer's intentions were bad, refused and only Hunter X-05 joined with Renslayer. Faced with death, Dox simply taunted Renslayer how everyone present would rather die than join her. Renslayer and Miss Minutes watched as Dox and her forces were crushed using the Time Cube device. During their horrible deaths, Miss Minutes had a look of sadistic glee on her face as she watched them.
Subsequently, Miss Minutes reinserted herself into the TVA's systems and did her best to hamper Loki and Sylvie's efforts to rescue Victor Timely from Renslayer's clutches, Renslayer and Miss Minutes intending to fix the Temporal Loom themselves by forcing Victor to help them. However, at the request of Loki and Sylvie, Ouroboros rebooted the TVA's systems, locking Miss Minutes out and deactivating her. As she went offline, Miss Minutes told Victor in a menacing tone that "you'll never be him," referring to He Who Remains. Rebooting the system to take Miss Minutes offline also deactivated the dampeners blocking Loki and Sylvie's powers, enabling Sylvie to enchant X-05 to prune Renslayer while she and Loki rescued Victor.
In one of his attempts to stop the destruction of the Temporal Loom, Loki attempted to enlist Miss Minutes' help from before she was deactivated to get the Throughput Multiplier completed faster. It was left unclear if she helped him or not, but the attempt failed either way.
Reactivation[]
Miss Minutes was later reactivated by O.B., once again friendly and presumably reset with her memories wiped in some manner. However, O.B. admitted that he wasn't sure if the AI would try to kill them again or not.

Trivia[]
- Miss Minutes is a parody of Mr. DNA from Jurassic Park. Puzzingly, when she hacks the Time Variance Authority's headquarters in the second season's fourth episode, the way Miss Minutes mocks the employees for blocking their technology reminds one to Dennis Nedry's virtual avatar doing the same.
