Miss Thavel is one of the two secondary antagonists (Alongside Miss Bloomie) of Basics in Behavior, and possibly the whole Fundamental Paper Education series by Kaaatie.
She's one of the three main teachers that teach at Paper School, and also murders the unfortunate students that fail a test. She helps Miss Bloomie and Miss Circle attempt to kill Claire after she fails a test.
Appearance[]
She's completely monochrome, possessing black claws for hands and arms. She wears a school dress that's a little torn at the bottom, and has letters blocks on her head, the letters being "A," "B," and "C" respectively. She's shown wearing black heels as well.
Biography[]
Miss Thavel acts as the language teacher at the school, teaching the kids stuff like English and other languages. Even though she does seem nice, she's willing to murder any and all kids who fail their test.
Personality[]
She's shown to be cruel and sadistic, gladly partaking in the act of murdering failing students. She attempts to kill Claire throughout the majority of the short, along with Miss Circle and Miss Bloomie. She's shown to cut books with ease, as shown when Claire throws a book at her to slow her down.
However, Miss Thavel did show to be frightened of ∆lice. Just like Miss Circle, Miss Thavel is shown to be alarmed and scolds Zip and Oliver for tricking Claire into going to ∆lice's room.
Trivia[]
- Miss Thavel appears to have a second form, as seen when chasing Claire. In this form, the letter blocks on her head are replaced with Wendigo antlers, she gains a deer-like tail, and her attire is more tattered and ripped off. Her arms and legs also appear to gain a furry texture of sorts.
- Some speculate that Miss Thavel and Zip are mother and daughter, because their hair is in a triangular shape and their hands are shaped like monsters.
- If this is true, then she is the only teacher with the title "Mrs. Thavel", although this has not been confirmed.
- Out of all of the killer teachers, Miss Thavel is the youngest of the three.
