Misual is a main antagonist in the video game Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny.
Biography[]
Past[]
Misual was originally a powerful and genius wizard who would come to be known as the Super Sage Misual. He would eventually fall in love with Releiza the Legendary Witch and the two would go on adventures to save people from Demons and natural disasters such as starvation.
One day while Misual was away from the city, the Demons attacked the city to find the Majin DNA and Releiza would end up being killed, sending Misual spiralling into depression and using any method he could to resurrect herself. Eventually, Misual would create the Super Reincarnation spell, allowing him to travel back in time to potentially save her, however, after tens of thousands of failed attempts, Misual would grow to be nihilistic, wishing to destroy the entire universe.
Misual would take the Majin DNA that the Demons were searching for and would look for a way to create a God of Destruction. Misual would travel to the Netherworld and would trick Overlord Ivar into giving him the laboratory and resources to make one in exchange for allowing Ivar to fight the God of Destruction, however, after Misual tried to drain the life force of Ivar's vassals, he would attack Misual, causing his body to break apart but not before fleeing to a different Netherworld.
While in that Netherworld, he would encounter Bieko who would quickly remove Misual's brain and put it into the body of a zombie dog, turning him into Cerberus. As Cerberus, Misual would live with Bieko and Zed for a while and eventually discover that Zed was a Majin in his previous life. Misual would plan to make Zed into the ultimate God of Destruction that he would need to destroy the universe.
For this plan to work, Misual would need to weaken Zed's mind and soul while also vastly improving his strength, to do so, he would transform Bieko into a God of Destruction and tell Zed that the only way to become strong enough to free her is to use Super Reincarnation, a spell where the user will revive after death until they achieve their goals, not mentioning how it weakens the user after thousands of usages.
Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny[]
Misual would continue to help Zed grow in strength while helping him recruit allies from the worlds that they travel through, each time they were done in a world, Zed would be attacked by a God of Destruction and would be killed again.
Eventually, Zed would become strong enough to beat the God of Destruction, freeing Bieko and tricking Misual into thinking she had died so she couldn't reveal that he was responsible for her transformation.
Zed would confront Misual over this, causing him to drop his facade before reforming his old body, capturing Bieko and travelling to different worlds, forcing Zed to use Super Reincarnation to chase him which brought his body closer and closer to becoming the Majin that Misual wanted. Misual would recruit Hero Yarmada, Naive and Ruffian Red (The latter by having Naive kidnap children and holding them hostage) and turn them all and Bieko into Gods of Destruction, however, they would all be freed.
When Misual and Zed confronted each other again, they would tell him that they had used Super Reincarnation to travel into Misual's past and had managed to save Releiza from the Demons which angered Misual beyond belief, thinking that they were lying to him. After a while, when Zed nearly succumbed to becoming a Majin, Misual would use the chance to form Zed's Majin side into a separate being called the Zed of Destruction, pitting it against Zed and trying to use it to destroy the universe, however, it would be beaten.
Still wanting to destroy the universe, Misual would use the Majin DNA on himself, turning into the Super God of Destruction in a last attempt to achieve his goals. This would be beaten too, leaving Misual's body beyond repair and he intended to die then and there, however, Bieko saved him again by transferring his brain into his Cerberus body and Zed promised that he and Misual would travel back in time to save Releiza.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Superhuman strength, speed and durability: Misual is an incredibly strong being, able to instantly kill Zed after he became strong enough to fight on par with a God of Destruction who even Overlords that can destroy planets and galaxies are afraid of.
- Super Reincarnation: Misual is able to continuously resurrect himself after using Super Reincarnation, however, each reincarnation sends him to a different world and weakens his body every time he uses it, the only way to stop the effects is to achieve his dream which was to save Releiza. Misual can activate Super Reincarnation at will to travel to different universes.
- God of Destruction creation: Misual is able to use the Majin DNA that he has on him to turn those around him into immensely powerful beings called the God of Destruction.
- Super Misual of Destruction: Misual is able to fully transform his body into a God of Destruction called the Super Misual of Destruction. This form is immensely stronger than he is normally and is far stronger than any other God of Destruction.
