Hi. This is Thesecret1070. I am an admin of this site. Edit as much as you wish, but one little thing... If you are going to edit a lot, then make yourself a user and login. Other than that, enjoy Villains Wiki!!!
I thought coming here would prove that you and other Superman were the bad guys, but instead it was Ally and me. How could I be so wrong?

~ Anderson's last words to Superman before being killed by Jon-El, officially redeeming himself.
Lt. General Mitchell "Mitch" Anderson is a major antagonist in Season 2 of the TV series Superman & Lois.
He was a loyal military soldier in the US Army, who worked very closely with Lois Lane's father, Gen. Sam Lane and was named new director of the DOD following Tal-Rho's failed attempt to turn humans into Kryptonians. However, Anderson's encounters with Superman's bizarro counterpart cause him to become paranoid and go rogue, severing ties with the United States government and in the process join forces with cult leader, Ally Allston. In the Inverse World, Anderson comes to see the error of his ways and makes amends with Superman before being killed by the Inverse version of his son, Jonathan Kent.
He was played by Ian Bohen, who also played Anderson's bizarro counterpart and Peter Hale in the MTV series Teen Wolf.
Mitch Anderson was appointed as director of the Department of Defense sometime after Sam Lane stepped down from active duty. He frequently butted heads with Superman over how American interests should be protected above other countries, failing to understand Superman's ideals. This caused Henderson to replace Superman with a small group of young individuals dubbed the Supermen of America that he empowered with X-Kryptonite, putting a strain on the hero's relationship with the DOD.
Anderson sends his team to battle Bizarro, (Superman's counterpart from the Inverse World) resulting in two of them getting killed and the other severely injured. Anderson chooses to blame Superman for what happened to his men instead of taking responsibility for his mistake and brands the Man of Steel a traitor for withholding information about his counterpart. Anderson has Superman placed him in the same red solar powered cell as his brother, Tal-Rho, and tortures the latter with Kryptonite to force Superman into giving up Bizarro's location, only to be deceived by him instead.
Going AWOL[]
After the two brothers work together to escape, Anderson breaks protocol by confiscating weapons from Project 7334 and gives himself superpowers using X-Kryptonite in order to bring the fugitives to "justice". Upon locating their whereabouts along with Bizarro, Anderson shoots Tal-Rho with a Kryptonite bullet meant for Kal and engages Bizarro in battle snapping his neck, killing him. He then goes AWOL and teams up with Ally Allston, giving her Bizarro's pendant.
Anderson later accompanied Allston and several of her followers to Shuster Mines where they planned to enter a portal to the Inverse World. Allston is captured by Superman while Anderson goes through the portal with the pendant and attempts to merge with his alternate self only to watch in horror as his counterpart is burned to death by Jon-El under other Ally's orders. Anderson flees the scene and searches for help in the alternate version of Smallville, but its residents believed he was insane because in their world he appeared to be speaking backwards to them. He manages to find the Bizarro version of Lois Lane who takes him to a bunker on her farm.
Redemption and Death[]
Upon meeting the other Superman's family, Anderson comes to the realization that he was wrong about him and apologies to Superman after he arrives with Jon-El. Both versions of Ally show up shortly after along with Tal-Rho and his wife Lana-Rho and demand that they relinquish control of the pendant so that they can merge the two Earths together. Anderson gives the pendant to Clark and tells him to return to their world before fighting Jon-El. After a brief aerial battle, Anderson is overpowered by the misguided teenager and killed by him just like his other self.
In the end, Anderson's final act of self sacrifice not only redeemed him, but also diminished any notion of him being a villain and that the real villain was Ally all along.
