Selene, real name Mitsuki, is one of the main characters of Stroop Zombie Apocalypse audioseries, El Diario de Jonathan.
At first, an amnesiac girl who was found by Jonathan about to be sold in a City. Upon freeing her, she bonds with him and they form a strong romantic bond later on. In addition to becoming one of the main members of Los Tytos, Jonathan's group, alongside Redt and Samantha.
However, throughout the series, clues are shown that Selene belongs to a group enemy of Jonathan's father, Jovani Paolo, and the appearance of a girl in a red cape and the intrusion of some saboteurs from that group, make that Selene little by little remembers who she was via manipulation with strange objects, and when she realizes, she betrays Jonathan and becomes a villain.
Appearance[]
She is a light-skinned, thin girl of short stature, dark hair with small blue strands, short and straight; her eyes are blue.
Her main design as Selene, is that she wears coats and spandex but is always barefoot since, according to her, this way she moves better in combat.
His second design is to wear a blue t-shirt from Jonathan's mother.
As Mitsuki, she once again wears her old Lotus member outfit, which is a kind of extravagant dress, with a blue cape and boots.
Personality[]
At first Selene was shown as a submissive and lonely girl. However, in the next episode she quickly loses this aspect by destroying enemies in combat with her daggers and enjoying it, as well as being happy to see how a woman and her baby are tortured by her newly new group, Puño de oro (tr: Golden Fist). Throughout the series, Selene's sadistic side is shown, although according to her, she later feels that it is due to "a monster" that resides within her.
It is later revealed that this is due to her original personality, Mitsuki, who is a ruthless assassin who does not hesitate to betray her allies to accomplish her goals for herself and her original side, the Lotus. Selene refers to her as her inner monster.
For example, in Chapter 12.2, a clone of Jonathan becomes Selene and begins to psychologically abuse him by telling him that his true self has no feelings towards him and that he was blind.
However, Selene genuinely loved Jonathan before he turned back into Mitsuki, a personality which emerges from the cold, or from the wind chimes that the saboteurs ring so that Selene remembers who she is, and what her duty is. For her other Tytos companions, she has generally shown little or no interest in them, proposing to Jonathan to kill them so that it would just be her and him. Although when it comes to fighting as a team such as against Perro Salvaje's large group of dangerous savage assassins, they are quite efficient, although this is only to save each other's lives and not because Selene considers Redt and Samantha to be close friends.
