~ Ahab's famous speech concerning the monstrous whale Moby Dick. |
Moby Dick is a legendary sea monster made famous in the novel of the same name, although the beast is destructive, powerful, and wild it is actually the secondary villain of the piece - with Captain Ahab serving as the primary (albeit tragic) villain.
Moby Dick is a gigantic white sperm whale and a fearsome monster that Ahab is determined to slay at all costs, in the process, Ahab goes insane and the battle between man and beast becomes what is widely believed to be one of the most famous stories of all time.
