Mohan Ghale is the overarching antagonist of the 2014 video game Far Cry 4, and the secondary antagonist of the Far Cry 6 DLC Pagan: Control.
He is the father of Ajay Ghale, and the founder of the Golden Path. He is also the archenemy of Pagan Min.
Biography[]
In 1981, he married someone named Ishwari, while she was only 13 years old, while he did seemed to generally love her, Ishwari didn't consider it. By the year 1988, where Ajay was born, his marriage with Ishwari becomes strained, and fought a couple of times, which to the point where Ishwari felt ignored by Mohan. Later on, Mohan sent Ishwari to Pagan Min's palace, to spy on him. Despite this, Pagan began to deeply trust and respect Ishwari, as Mohan encouraged her to get closer to him for her advantage.
However, the relationship between Pagan and Ishwari eventually blossomed to a full romantic affair, and she gave birth to second child, whose daughter was in fact Pagan's, calling her Lakshmana. When Mohan learned Ishwari's affair with Pagan, and a second child with Pagan, this enraged him to the point he kills Lakshmana. Mohan refer to this as Ishwari's "mistake", as he felt angry over her betrayal and desire to prevent Pagan from having an heir. This leads to Ishwari killing Mohan, by shooting him and fled with Ajay to the United States.
For over the years, Mohan's legacy to the Golden Path is still united by his people, including Sabal and Amita. In 2014, Ajay returns to Kyrat to spread his mother's ashes, only to be halted by the Golden Path, as they need his help to stop Pagan, but towards the end, he realizes the Golden Path's true intentions, but what leads to their demise is unknown.
