~ Momoki to Shun Uruma.

Sanae Momoki (百木 早苗 Momoki Sanae) is one of the secondary antagonists in the 2020 Japanese psychological manga series Juujika no Rokunin. She is a high-ranking member of the Revolution Club and took part in kidnapping Shun Uruma’s family and is also responsible for the death of Kaname Shirakawa. She is a major antagonist in the Kyou arc, a minor antagonist in the Lost Memories and the Andou arcs, one of three overarching antagonists (along with Kyou and Madoka) of the Jun arc, and the secondary antagonist of the Final Revenge arc.

Biography[]

Momoki's history is said to be shrouded in mystery and there are unknown details about her age, birthplace, her family, and her reasons for joining the Revolutionary Club afterwards. It was also stated she's a lesbian.

She is first seen in chapter 65 in a meeting led by Kyou. Later, Kyou reveals to her, Andou, Miguel, and Nogi that Jun Shirakawa had become a new member of their allies. She and the others capture a thief named Nakamura Masahi who tries to steal the club’s money and takes him to the “factory”, where Andou “rehabilitates” the man by torturing him into a fellow revolution soldier. The members then kidnap Shun Uruma’s young brother, Kakeru, and bring him to the elementary school, and force both of them to play a deadly match of “Rock, Paper, Scissors” with Jun.

After a couple of rounds, Kyou gets a call from Momoki and tells Jun that a girl has died during round two. Momoki then appears and is seen wheeling a large cart with a lifeless body with a missing right arm and left leg, revealed to be Kaname, Jun’s sister. Shun’s grandpa, Shun Uruma Sr., escapes from the chain by sawing off his foot. Once Gramps kills Miguel and saves Uruma, Momoki quickly grabs Kakeru and holds him hostage, threatening to use a blade on him.

Gramps challenges Andou while the latter uses a chainsaw against him. Andou chooses to kill Kakeru while Momoki tries to signal to kill Gramps instead but ignores her. She drops Kakeru and ran away before Gramps takes the hit and dies to save Kakeru, only to be all for nothing as Kyou walks up behind the poor child and stabs him. After Shun kills Nogi and slashes Kyou’s eye across his face, Kyou escapes with Andou and Momoki from the elementary before the police arrived.

Five years later, Momoki is seen along with Andou, Kurusu, and two other unidentified members, entering a room to meet up and inform Kyou of Uruma’s return. It is revealed by Jun that she is the top educator of the Revolution Club, implied to have groomed and brainwashed newly recruited loyalists into their ranks. She's also the one implied to be the reason Jun became incestuous and more vengeful than before, given she was behind the Kaname doppelgangers have their faces changed after suffering from mental training from Jun. She's also revealed to have a hideout within Hashida Elementary School where she's likely to have conduct her torturous routine with her recruits and the girls she lured into as mentioned by Kaname Matsushima.

After the deaths of Andou and Kurusu, Kyou has Sana punish one of the survivors, Masashi Nakamura, of the burning island as an example of those who fail him, lobotomizing him into being "her pet". She's then seen psychologically converting newcomers for the Revolution Club's numbers, subjecting them to pledging loyalty after that, questioning them "your [blank] or the Revolutionary" to their importance, which few ended up hurting themselves as their answer while the last one hesitated to poke his own eye out, sending the latter to "rehabilitation". She then gets word from one of her subordinates regarding Jun, which she slightly laughed and informs Kyou about it.

After the confrontation between Jun and Uruma prior to the former's suicide, she had her minion, Masashi Nakamura, take Jun's corpse with him before she remarked how happy she and Kyou are towards Jun for his torture of Uruma. She's later seen torturously drugging the recruits, making them run in circles until the effects kicked in and die. When one of the surviving recruits begged her for mercy, she instead injected said recruit with a drug that caused him to bleed out from his eye sockets and mouth, sadistically remarking she "messed up the concoction" before leaving the corpses with Masashi. During the initiated attacks of the Revolution Club, Momoki is revealed to have kidnapped Saki Hanaoka, one of the female acquaintances of Uruma, and kept her in a bondage state and naked. Undressing herself, she would lustfully begin kissing Saki before having some time having her way with the gravure idol, bringing out a vibrator to use on her.

Upon hours of drugging and raping Saki, Momoki receives a call from Kyou about the next phase of tormenting Uruma, which she implicates the latter is going to be up against "that guy" while sadistically smirking and during the aftermath, Sana forces her to brand Uruma in the upcoming love match game between him and Kyou or be branded her self which will make her loose her job and become a sex slave to Momoki for as long as she lives

Trivia[]

  • Out of all the Revolution Club members involved in the incident with Uruma during the pre-timeskip, she is the only member to still be alive and to have gotten away with her crimes scot-free (for now, as this may change in the future).
  • She is the only female in the series to be introduced as an antagonist.
  • It was revealed that she was responsible for the appearances of the “Kaname” doppelgängers that Jun had enslaved instead of the latter himself.
