Momoko Suzuki, better know by her alias, Kyouchikutou, is the main antagonist of the anime series, Hidan no Aria AA. She is a member of the terrorist organization, IU.
She was voiced by Yue Horie in Japanese and Alex Moore in English.
Appearance[]
Momoko has the appearance of a teenage girl, despite being twenty-four years old. She has long, black hair with a white ribbon tied on the left side, and purple eyes. On her left hand, she wears what appears to be nail polish of different colors, but it is actually poison. Each color is a different type of poison. When not using said poisons, she conceals her left hand with a white glove.
Personality[]
Momoko generally displays a stoic demeanor, and rarely shows any signs of emotion. However, she does smile at times, and shouts in pain when defeated, proving that she does have emotion. She enjoys tormenting her enemies, and loves collecting different types of poison.
Biography[]
Prior to events of the anime, Momoko attacked the Mamiya Family's home in an attempt to steal their poison, Takamakuri. She succeeds in poisoning Nonoka Mamiya with a poison that has a latency of more than a year, however Nonoka escapes along with her sister, Akari. Their parents likely died in the chaos that ensued.
In the present day, Nonoka's poison has begun to take effect, and Momoko manages to track the sisters down. After her first attempt to kill them fails, she offers Akari a position at IU, though Akari declines. Momoko then retreats, but not before giving Akari a spare keycard to her hotel room. After forming a plan with her friends, Akari goes to the hotel to fight Momoko. After another failed attempt to convince Akari to join IU, Momoko retreats again, and, using her various poisons, begins to pick off Akari's friends, one-by-one. Eventually, she and Akari have a duel on a highway bridge, and after losing, Momoko is taken into police custody. She subsequently gives Akari the antidote to the poison affecting Nonoka.
In the anime, it is unclear what happens to Kyouchikytou after being transferred to prison. However, there are implications that both Kyouchikytou and her sister will undergo prosecution and receive lengthy prison sentences, instead of accepting a plea bargain as depicted in the manga and light novel. Kyouchikytou's demeanor suggests that she has come to terms with her life as a prisoner, as she and her sister were the final antagonists to appear in the anime.
Based on the crimes she has committed and the current laws in the world of Hidan no Aria, Kyouchikytou would be sentenced to over 50 years imprisonment to life (even possibly facing the death penalty) for charges of terrorism and murder. Due to her highly dangerous criminal nature, Kyouchikytou would be kept in solitary confinement and have her movements restricted by wearing handcuffs and leg cuffs. The same would apply to her older sister.
