Mongal is a major antagonist in the episode "Duel of the Double Crossers!" in Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
She is the sister of Mongul and a leading-figure on War World who bets against her brother on which fighter can win in the gladiator competition they host.
Like her brother she was voiced by Gary Anthony Williams, who also played Fun Haus in the same series, Smart Brother in the 2002 film Undercover Brother, Bebop in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, Dupe Licitous in The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants: IN SPACE!!!, Goofy Manager in SpongeBob SquarePants, and Riff Tamson in Star Wars: the Clone Wars
Biography[]
For a long time, Mongal and her brother, Mongul, leads War World with their brutal fights. They would have men abducted and forced to spar for their entertainment and would also put them against the powerful and bloodthirsty Steppenwolf. Mongal would support Steppenwolf during the gladiator tournament whereas her brother would support any strong opponent that can challenge Steppenwolf. She was also complicit in using Jonah Hex to allow the latter to capture men for War World battles.
The day that Batman was taken to War World, Mongal bets against Mongul's picks. She is also seen speaking with Jonah Hex in an attempt to try to gain an unfair advantage over her brother during their bet and admits to Hex that her motives were completely selfish. As the fighting between Steppenwolf and the new competitors occurred, Hex joined the battle to both Mongal's and Mongul's surprise and managed to defeat Steppenwolf and escape with Batman. Mongal and the furies, Lashina and Stompa, encounters Batman and Jonah Hex as they planned to escape and fight. She and her minions fight against them until they were able to have her tied up to a robotic horse and dragged away from them. As she was struggling to get free and asking Mongul for help, the latter chooses not to help her. Mongul did react when Mongal tells him that Jonah Hex and Batman were planning to free the other gladiators.
After getting freed from the robotic horse, Mongal stands by Mongul to see a group of angry men whom Jonah Hex and Batman just released from imprisonment confronting them. Mongal and Mongul ran away from the angry group of men.
