Biography[]

Gorillas in Our Midst![]

Gorilla Grodd meets with Monsieur Mallah to form the group known as Gorillas and Apes Seizing Power (G.A.S.P.) with the goal of taking over the world. Their plan involves dealing with Batman, whom they see as the most threatening and intelligent human. Mallah argues that their obsession with Batman is actually for the good of apekind. While Grodd is fixated on studying their enemy’s movements, Mallah emphasizes the need to eliminate Batman first.

As Grodd commands his gorillas to capture Detective Chimp, the Chimp tries to defend himself but soon finds himself outnumbered. In a dark cave, Batman arrives just in time to rescue Chimp, projecting himself as clever and tactical. However, Grodd toys with Batman, mocking him for his new utility belt, which Batman has yet to fully utilize.

Batman takes down three of the gorillas and demands Grodd release Chimp, who is being held hostage. But as Batman tries to save him, he finds himself trapped along with the Chimp in the Cave of Rock. Grodd stands over them, gloating about his victory, proclaiming that Gotham will belong to Apeypoia now that Batman is out of the picture.

Meanwhile, G.A.S.P. arrives in Gotham, ready to assert their control over the city. Vixen and Animal Man, alerted to the threat, prepare to defend their home. Vixen uses her Totem powers to fly into action, confronting the gorillas and demanding their surrender. However, she quickly finds herself ensnared in a net thrown by Monsieur Mallah.

As the gorilla forces focus on capturing Vixen and Animal Man, Mallah taunts them, calling Animal Man pathetic in the face of their plans. Despite Batman and Detective Chimp's arrival in Gotham, they realize it might be too late; the gorillas are well on their way to taking over the city. With the stakes higher than ever, the showdown for Gotham is about to begin.

All the humans in Gotham have been rounded up and placed in the zoo, and G.A.S.P. is checking their progress when they spot Batman trapped among the empty cages. Suddenly, the heroes launch an ambush Mallah was first knock out.

The Last Patrol![]

The Brain, accompanied by Mallah, finds The Chief alone and perceives an opportunity—The Chief has grown soft, and this is the perfect time to strike. The Brain orders Mallah to eliminate him, and he fires a laser blast, but The Chief counters with a force shield, rendering the attack ineffective. Mallah, quick on his feet, picks up a nearby shield and hurls it at The Chief's bookshelf, knocking the shield down and leaving him vulnerable.

As the confrontation intensifies, The Brain realizes that this isn’t the enemy he once knew; something has changed in The Chief. Just as he contemplates this change, Batman arrives on the scene to save The Chief.

Batman zeroes in on The Brain, but Mallah intervenes, pinning Batman down. In the heat of the moment, Batman throws a Batarang, seemingly missing his target. However, it becomes clear that he wasn’t aiming for Mallah at all; he had a different plan in mind. The Batarang releases a tape recorder that falls on Mallah.
