Monty Tank, is a minor antagonist in the Super Mario franchise. He debuted as a boss in New Super Mario Bros.
He is quite a moderate Warlord when it comes to the Koopa Troop. His only goal for him is to kill Mario/Luigi and stop them from saving Peach under Bowser Jr.'s orders.

Biography[]
New Super Mario Bros.[]
Monty Tank's first (and only) appearance was in New Super Mario Bros. When Mario/Luigi reach the end of World 6-Castle, Monty Tank bumps into Mario/Luigi, starting the boss fight. Monty Tank starts to shoot bullet bills out of his tank, then Monty Tank climbs out of his tank and tries to throw a Bob-omb at Mario/Luigi. Mario/Luigi can stomp on Monty Tank while Monty Tank is out of the inside of his tank. Once Monty Tank gets hit, he will eventually play a siren sound, while shooting multiple Bullet Bills out his tank, and move all around the area, and rotating the tank back-and-fourth. Then once that finishes, another layer of the tank will arise; shooting more Bullet Bills. This repeats until you are able to defeat Monty Tank (always 3 hits). After that, you are able to access World 7 or World 8 if you used World 5's secret exit.
