Biography[]
Cartoon[]
Appearing in the final miniseries "The Rebirth", Monzo was a member of the Hive, the tyrannical rulers of Nebulos. When the Autobots and Decepticons arrived on Nebulos and the Autobots became Headmasters after bonding with Nebulan rebels, Hive leader Lord Zarak convinced the Decepticons to allow some of their number to bond with members of the Hive. Monzo was bonded with Weirdwolf. Zarak later had him torture the captive Daniel Witwicky to ensure Arcee's co-operation. He accompanied the Decepticons back to Cybertron but they were forced to retreat after the failure of Galvatron's plan.
Comics[]
Monzo appeared in the Headmasters miniseries as a Nebulan wrestler kidnapped by Decepticons Weirdwolf, Mindwipe and Skullcruncher for their experiments. Hypnotised by Mindwipe to not feel fear, he was trapped inside a bubble and sent skywards until it burst. Mindwipe saved him from falling to his death rather than lose a guinea pig. When Zarak convinced Decepticon leader Scorponok to bond with their captives to challenge the Autobot Headmasters, Monzo was partnered with Weirdwolf. They succeeded in defeating and capturing the Autobot Headmasters. Monzo took part in other battles with the Autobots before both groups left Nebulos.
His only appearance in the main comic was in Issue #49 when Zarak unveiled the Decepticon Headmasters and their partners to Earth Decepticon leader Ratbat.
