Mooks are recurring enemies in the EarthBound/Mother series. They are an alien race that serve Giygas, being capable of wielding psychic powers. One notable Mook even kidnapped Paula while Ness was inside the Fourside Department Store, being known as the Dept. Store Spook.
Appearance[]
Mooks have several tentacles protruding from their body. They have three eyes, two of them vesicular, being similar to snail eyes, and In the middle of the body is the center eye and a white toothed grin.
Variants[]
- Mooks: The generic green Mook is found in the Swamp and close to Ellay. They are capable of using PSI Freeze and Hypnosis. They may even try to steal Items.
- Oh-Mooks: Taking on a rusty orange, these Mooks are a stronger version of the normal Mook. They are found in Mt. Itoi.
- Lesser Mooks: A purple relative to the Mooks. They are found invading Winters and for some reason, The Dungeon Man. Despite their name, they harness the power of PSI Fire, PSI Freeze, and can even Diamondize its enemies.
- Senior Mooks: The most powerful Mooks, they have a coloring identical to Oh-Mooks. They reside in the base at Stonehenge. They have the exact same psychic abilities as the Lesser Mooks, with the addition of restoring their health with Lifeup. They will disappear when Starman Deluxe is defeated .
- Dept. Store Spook: A pale looking Mook that resides on inside the Fourside Department Store. He kidnaps Paula and commands Ness to the top floor. Unlike the other Mooks, he only appears once.
