Morag is an evil witch from the Nintendo DS video game Dragon Quest IX. She was the one to bring destruction upon Brigadoom and cursed the Right Knight so that he would live forever as a scary zombie and she could keep him as her lover forever. From that moment on, she calls him the Wight Knight due to her lisp, which is how his cursed corpse known as in Stornway.

Her spell over the Wight Knight is broken at the beginning of the game, due to the dark shockwave that strikes the world. Wight Knight, free from her spell but not realizing he is dead, goes to Stornway to reclaim his princess, believing Princess Simona of Stornway is Princess Mona of Brigadoom. Upon being confronted by the hero, he realizes that he is dead, so he rushes off to the village of Zere for directions back to Brigadoom.

After visiting Zere, the Hero learns the fate of Brigadoom, telling it to the Wight Knight, who goes ahead to the ruined kingdom. Once the hero enters the place, he finds Wight Knight confronting Morag, who had also awoken from the earthquake and she paralyzes him. Unable to paralyze the hero (due to him being a heavenly Celestrian), she is forced to confront him, but ends up defeated. Morag taunts the Wight Knight about how Princess Mona has already passed away in the years he was under her spell, before eventually succumbing to her wounds. However, Princess Simona appears, having followed the hero's party, and engages in a dance with the knight (her being a descendet of Mona's royal line and the near-spitting image of her). Her kindness purifies the Wight Knight's soul back into the Right Knight and he is finally able to ascend to the heavens to be with Mona, free from Morag's curse for good.

In battle, Morag has an incredibly dangerous and enticing attack called Paralyzing Eyes that may leave her opponents confused. Morag also wields the ice-type spell Crack, can make her foes miss turns with her Puff-Puff technique, and can drain health with HP Hoover to replenish her own.
