Morales is a survivor of the outbreak and later an antagonist in the AMC's The Walking Dead. He was originally a survivor of the Atlanta group led by Shane Walsh. Between Season 1 and 8, he lost his entire family off-screen and eventually joined Negan's group, the Saviors.
He was portrayed by Juan Gabriel Pareja.
Morales first appears when he rescues Rick Grimes from a group of Walkers outside a building with T-Dog. Once back inside, he dissuades Andrea from shooting Rick who accidentally lured a lot of undead into their hiding place. Then, the group goes up to the roof of the building when they hear Merle Dixon shoot the Walkers and the man delivers a fight against T-Dog after insulting him. Morales and the others try unsuccessfully to stop him until Rick handcuffs Merle to a pipe. Morales asks him where Rick is from and welcomes him to Atlanta.
After which, the group flees the city in vehicles and Morales comments that Glenn Rhee seems to be having fun in his noisy car. Upon arriving at the camp, Morales rejoins his family and introduces Rick to the survivors and the officer hugs Lori and Carl Grimes. In the next episode, over dinner, Morales strikes up a conversation with Dale Horvath and about setting his watch every day every day. The conversation is interrupted by an invasion of Walkers who kill several survivors including Ed Peletier and Amy Harrison, Andrea's sister. The next day, Morales helps burn the corpses and decides to go on his own with his family and bids farewell to the group. He is therefore no longer seen or mentioned until season 8.
In some unknown way, possibly because of the Walkers, Morales lost his entire family and for desperate cause joined the Saviors. He has transformed into a ruthless and murderous man and finds himself confronted by Rick in the episode "The Damned". Shocked, the former officer asks how he got there and Morales recounts his journey that he went through without Rick's group. After a long discussion, Morales is finally killed by Daryl Dixon who shoots an arrow at him in the head.
