Morgash is a minor antagonist in the 2013 film The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. He was a gundabad orc and former member of the Sauronite Cult who joined Azog's hunters.
Biography[]
The Cult[]
Morgash was a devoted servant to Sauron and member of Morkash’s Sauronite Cult. He was highly respected among his comrades for his ancient study of the Dark Magic Of Sauron. He was called to Dol Guldur on several occasions, being one of the orcs to know the evil Necromancer was indeed Sauron.
Joining Bolg[]
Sometime after leaving the Cult, Morgash came into the service of Bolg and his Hunters on their search for Thorin Oakenshield and his band dwarves.
Skirmish at Mirkwood[]
Bolg, Narzug, Fimbul, Morun, Morgash, and others tracked the Dwarf Party to Mirkwood. They attacked, but lost the skirmish due to the capture Of Narzug.
Ambush in Laketown[]
While tracking the Dwarf Party to Laketown, the orcs attack the home they stayed in. However, Legolas and Tauriel arrived to kill many of the orcs. When Morgash attempted to kill Tauriel, she slit his throat, killing him.
