Mornis, also known as the Sawmill Terror, is the major antagonist in Mario Muffet Adventures' 2015 Halloween series The Sawmill Terror and is a supporting antagonist in the Fredbear Central Arc.
Appearance[]
Mornis is a large, monstrous, reptilian-like creature that measures up to 12-15ft tall. Its eyes are reptilian in nature, sports four arms, with the addition of his dark, charcoal skin, allowing him to blend in the darkness.
In his reappearance, Mornis would sport a large scar on his chest, due to M1's fatal blow.
History[]
Origins[]
Mornis' origins are unclear, but is implied to be a former host of the Thirteen member Malignance. After the bond ended, Mornis would become a part of the Children of the Thirteen and became a powerful and immortal being. He also claimed to have lived since the Second Beginning.
Terror in Sawmill[]
Mornis would not terrorize the town of Sawmill up until the early 1700s where he would reside in a nearby forest and created his own lair known as Mortis Maw. Every year, he would kidnap victims one at a time and take their life force to become immortal. To keep him from simply taking all of the townsfolk, the Sawmill residents have resorted to offering Mornis sacrifices every year. One man (or penguin) however, named Hugo Houston, would become resentful of this practice, and was determined to stop this terror once and for all. As he was elected mayor, Hugo would rally up a mob in an attempt to face and kill the beast.
However, Mornis easily disposes most of the crowd, leaving Hugo Houston as the remaining man alive. As punishment, Mornis would curse Mortis and his wife, Anastasia, to be immortal and become his slaves. He would also force Hugo to turn the town of Sawmill into a tourist hub to lure in victims every October 31st for the Sawmill Terror to hunt and collect their life force, making him live longer in the process. Since then, Mornis has been deemed the most dangerous paranormal entity of Sawmill for over 100 years.
Halloween 2015[]
One faithful day of 2015, Mornis would terrorize Sawmill once more, terrorizing the tourists on the night of Spookfest, one by one, he would claim more and more victims, and. One such family, the Muffets, would become victims to his schemes, even stealing their Mahoda. However, M1 and mostly BK, would face Mornis into a duel, BK appears to gain the upper hand, but Mornis easily defeats him.
All seems lost until Hugo would face him and free the prisoners. Giving M1 enough time to get to Treachery. Hugo would be defeated as well, leaving M1, Treachery, and Mornis to fight. Mornis would chase M1 out in the woods, only to be ran over by the stolen Mahoda and is killed at the hands of M1 Henson, as he strikes the immortal beast down with the help of Treachery, killing the beast. This allows both Hugo Houston and Anastasia to be free from their curse and peacefully pass away together and ending the Sawmill Terror once and for all.
Revival[]
Years later, with almost all of the active Thirteen allying themselves against Treachery, he would revive the dead Mornis once more to convince Compromise to join forces for the final showdown.
The Thirteen Showdown[]
Mornis would aid Treachery, M1, Shadow Freddy, and Bonnie to fight Fredbear's collected Thirteen members. However his strength wasn't enough to beat them, if it weren't for Bonnie and Compromise, they would've been defeated by now.
He would watch Treachery's ascension as he collected half of the Thirteen, only to be defeated by M1 Henson via refusing his offer and blaming him on how much money he had to spend for the entire trip, further showing he isn't the adventurous type. This causes Mornis to be upset and dissolve into a puff of smoke, returning to the land of the dead.
