The Moroaicǎ are an enemy type in the 2021 survival horror video game Resident Evil Village.
They used to be maids/slaves for Alcina Dimitrescu until they were turned into mindless beasts residing at Castle Dimitrescu.
Their counterparts are the Haulers in the factory and the Face-Eaters from Shadows of Rose DLC.

Background[]
The Moroaică are mold infected human women who died during tortuous blood-draining procedures by the Dimitrescu., though they all turned out to be failure, they were revived as hollow husks of their former selves, lacking the intelligence they once possessed when they were mortal, and now seek only to feed on those around them.
Resident Evil Village[]
They are primarily encountered in the dungeons of Castle Dimitrescu, inside the distillery and at the courtyard. All Moroaică presumably died when Ethan destroyed the megamycete.
Appearance[]
Moroaica's are undead women, they are bone thin, with deathly pale skin, sharp teeth and soulless pupiless eyes they wear brown robes and a hood around their heads, they have a cuff around their leg, they wield weapons like sickles, swords or use their sharp nails.
Trivia[]
- The name Moroaicǎ is taken from Moroi, a mythical creature from Romanian folklore. The name was generally referring to a female Moroi.
- According to the diaries left by the maids, the Dimitrescu ladies would send them to the cellar for minor infractions.
