Morpeko is an Electric/Dark type Pokémon native to the Galar Region in the Pokémon World.
While normally a very friendly, loyal, cute and cuddly companion, if Morpeko go too long without eating, their personality completely changes to a one of considerable evil and malice. Hangry Morpekos go on destructive rampages and are exceedingly violent and cruel.
Appearance[]
Morpkeos have an appearance skin to small rodent like creatures. Their fur is made of three different colors; a soft brown on the right, yellow in the center and overall, and black on the left. They have large pink cheeks and similar to Pikachu can store energy in them. The type of energy stored depends on the Pokémon's current form. They have small arms, very small feet, and two ears that each have a small tuft. It has a lone bucktooth and small, cute eyes, and a very tiny nose.
When Hangry, both sides of Morpeko become black, and the overall central color becomes purple. Its eyes become red, angry and malevolent, and its mouth becomes full of teeth in an angry scowl.
Behavior[]
Morpeko carries around Berry seeds that have been electrically roasted in its pockets to keep hunger at bay due to its small stomach.
Unless Morpeko continues to eat its stored seeds, it will become instantly hungry. If not and it begins experiencing prolonged hunger, the hormones in Morpeko will shift in balance, and its fur color changes. As a result of intense hunger, Morpeko becomes aggressive, driven into committing all kinds of evil deeds and enacting extreme violence until their hunger is satisfied.

- It's Full Belly and Hangry Forms are reference to Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
- It's Full Belly Form being friendly is equivalent to Dr. Jekyll, while it's Hangry Form being Evil is the equivalent to Mr. Hyde.
- As well as it's colors scheme of being yellow in Full belly, purple in Hangry are reference to the Minions and Purple Minions from Despicable Me.
