Mortis Immortal is the main antagonist of the rare 2005 light gun shooter Akuma: Mortis Immortal. He is a viscous spirit that wanted to destroy the world by starting an apocalypse with the other spirits.
Biography[]
Mortis plan of apocalypse started with him breaking the Circle of Life. The talisman kept imprisoned the six spirits who massacred many humans years before. With the beasts free, Mortis restarted their massacre, planning to kill as much humans as possible with their and the other leaser demons help.
However, an unnamed Brave Warrior decided to stop Mortis by putting the demons back in the talisman. Quickly realizing this, Mortis sent the Civabosam, a spirit with another head coming out of his chest to defeat him. After the demon's defeat, Mortis threatened the Brave Warrior, saying "that is only just the being."
Through the whole game, Mortis keeps sending each of the six spirits to defeat Warrior, but each one gets defeated, with ultimately leaves the hero to find the hideout of the vicious spirit.
Getting angry, Mortis decided to kill the Brave Warrior himself. While the battle seems to be going well at first, Mortis takes his ultimate form, making things more difficult. However, with the Barve Warrior determination, Mortis ends up being defeated, with his soul being trapped in the Circle of Life with the creatures he freed before.
