Morton is the fourth cousin of Cecil, leader of the marabous and a major antagonist in the 2012 film Zambezia.
Appearance[]
He is an adult Marabou stork, but looked quite different from most marabous for having a relatively bent beak and less fearsome look. In the film, he is also shown to have a favorite diet of puddings.
Biography[]
Morton is first seen compassionate Cecil who witnessed the lost of his younger brother Sill, but was then interrupted by Budzo, a sinister rock monitor lizard and the main antagonist in the film. Budzo made a deal with the marabous, saying that they will eat all the eggs in Zambezia. The next day, he and his older cousin conducted a gathering of the Marabou storks about their future collaboration with Budzo.
One day he and another Marabou stork is successful of luring the Hurricanes to a trap in order to abduct the Hurricanes so no one can inhibit the monitor lizard. The next day, when Budzo arrives the bridge, he was betrayed along with the other marabou storks.
After Kai, a young falcon and the main protagonist of the film convinces that the marabous have the obligation to live in Zambezia as long as they help fight against Budzo, Morton is the first one to react to him, before his older brother could. He and the marabous are successful teaming the Zambezians to fight against Budzo. Before the celebration, Ajax, a Bearded vulture and the instructor of the hurricanes, permits Morton to join as a hurricane. At the feast, he is seen enjoying the puddings.
