The Mos Espa Crime Families are an organization of three families that control different sections in the city of Mos Espa.
History[]
When Jabba the Hutt died it created a vacuum on Tatooine and Mos Espa allowing Bib Fortuna to take Jabba's position of power. However Bib Fortuna didn't have the skills or strange to run things by himself so under his rule Mos Espa was split into three sections.
Once divided the three crime families took each section for themselves. The Trandoshan crime family gained control over everything in the center of the city, the Aqualish crime family claimed the worker's district and the Klatooine crime family took control of the starport and upper sprawl.
When Boba Fett killed Bib Fortuna and his place each of the leaders from the three crime families came to pay tribute to the new daimyo. As the new daimyo Boba Fett and Fennec get visits from Garfalaquox leader of the Aqualish crime family paying tribute with a chest full credits then Dokk Stassi leader of the Trandoshan crime family walks in paying tribute with a Wookiee pelt. Later after getting a visit from the mayor of Mos Espa's majordomo Fennec warns Boba Fett that they should keep an eye on all the crime families and their leaders.
