The Mosquitoes (mainly the Mosquito Swarms) are minor characters in the 2024 Roblox RPG Block Tales, serving as minor antagonists in the game's second chapter, A Toxic Time.
Mosquito Swarms commonly appear across the Plainstown Savannah and Rugged Rainforest as obstacles the players must face in order to progress. A friendly swarm of mosquitos are also found at the end of the Fire Ant hill where they tell the player about their queen, the Supreme Mosquito being close by.
Appearance[]
The Mosquito Swarms appear as a quadruplet of grey mosquitoes with several legs and antennae.
The Supreme Mosquito is a gray, Robloxian-sized mosquito. She has all the attributes of a normal mosquito but with anthropomorphism in the mix and wields a sword.
Biography[]
When the player adventures through the Plainstown savannah and Rugged Rainforest, the Mosquito Swarm are among the other newly appearing enemies of the chapter to encounter, which all share the common goal of defeating the player. After going down a fire ant hill, Mosquitoes are the only enemies to appear there and the player must battle many swarms to progress. A friendly swarm of mosquitoes are found at the end of the ant hill, where they mention to the player that their queen is nearby and offers the player to pay her a visit. The player later obtains the iron sword to chop down the dense vegetation near the Ant Hill to enter the mosquito nest, where the queen, the Supreme Mosquito resides at. After interacting with her, a fight is initiated where she can summon mosquito swarms to aid her in battle.
The Mosquitoes can later be refought in various floors throughout the pit, but that doesn't affect the storyline whatsoever.
Powers & Abilities[]
Mosquito Swarm[]
- Poison Pierce: The mosquito swarm flies towards the player and bites them. If the player doesn't dodge, they will heal themselves if the and poison to the player.
Supreme Mosquito[]
- Poison Pierce: The Supreme Mosquito thrusts her stinger directly at the player, damaging them if they don't dodge. She will heal herself if the attack is successful and apply poison to the player.
- Double Pierce: The Supreme Mosquito flies in a loop-de-loop twice, penetrating through the player's defense and damaging them once she has reached the bottom. If damaged, the Supreme Mosquito will heal herself.
- Call for Help: The Supreme Mosquito will call in a Mosquito Swarm to aid her in battle.
