Mother Nature is the titular main antagonist of the Smiling Friends episode "Pim and Charlie Save Mother Nature." She's the mother goddess/embodiment of nature itself.
Unlike her folkloric origins, however, Mother Nature is not a benevolent deity but one who brutally kills litterers.
She is voiced by the series co-creator Michael Cusack, who also voices Mr. Frog in the same series.
Appearance[]
Mother Nature first appears as a face emerging from the ground, surrounded by clovers and flowers. She has a wide opening for a mouth and large white eyes with eyelashes.
When her surroundings are clean, she grows larger and transforms into a massive green bush with daisies. After consuming Moth Man, she becomes significantly larger still. When she turns malevolent, her scleras turn yellow and her pupils turn red.
Personality[]
Mother Nature initially appears to be a soft-spoken, gentle, friendly, and benign goddess. After being restored to health thanks to Pim and Charlie cleaning up litter, she thanks them genuinely.
However, her malevolent side emerges when she brutally murders Mothman for littering, which allows her to transform into "herself again" before trying to find more litterbugs to feed on. She deeply despises litterers and believes death is a warranted punishment. When she realizes Charlie was actually responsible for the litter, she becomes enraged and evil, trying to eat him.
