Moto Bugs (also spelled as Motobugs) are supporting antagonists in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Usually being the first badnik Sonic encounters, Moto Bugs attempt to kill the hedgehog, and can be defeated by jumping on them.
Appearance[]
In the classic games, Moto Bugs have the appearance of a stylized insect, usually being depicted as having a red body, a dark gray base ending in a wheel, and gray, metallic claws. In addition, they have blue faces with two orange antenna and small, white fangs.
In modern titles, they more closely resemble ladybugs, though have the same build.
History[]
Moto Bugs usually do nothing but charge towards Sonic, but are generally very weak. As a result of this, Moto Bugs also tend to be some of the easiest Badniks to defeat. Sometimes, they will also chase Sonic around on a linear path, such as in Sonic Colors.
