Moustachesquatch is a villain from the Teletoon animated series, Sidekick. He is a giant evil mustache monster that lives in the woods and attacks people. He appeared in the episode "Moustachesquatch".
Biography[]
According to an old urban legend, long ago, there was a superhero who had a mustache. However, one day, the superhero's mustache came to life and turned evil. The mustache then ripped off of his face and turned into a colossal monstrous creature, who wreaked havoc upon everybody. This monster would then be banished into the wilderness, where it spends its days, lurking about and attacking campers, turning them into Moustachesquatches too by biting them.
The sidekicks went camping in the woods, where they had to spend the night out in the wild. One dark night, Eric was attacked by the Moustachesquatch, who bit his leg and gave him a mustache-shaped scar on his leg. The next day, Eric immediately started noticing changes happening to his body. Now, he was growing a huge mustache on his face, which he was pretty proud of at first, until it started to rapidly grow even more, which became completely unmanageable. This only got worse, when Trevor told him that on the night of a full moon, which was tomorrow night, he'd be cursed to be stuck as a Moustachesquatch Forever, unless he defeated the original Moustachesquatch in combat.
Eric and the sidekicks set out to find the Mostachesquatch that night and finally found him. Surprisingly, the Moustachesquatch was scared of them and he ran away in terror, while they chased after him all around the mountains. Eric finally caught the Moustachesquatch and used his own mustache powers to fight his mustache powers. At the end of the battle, Eric took out some hair gel and used it to mold the Moustachesquatch into a ball and send him rolling off the mountain cliff, where he was then attacked by Laser Bunnies. After this, the magic light of the full moon beamed Eric's mustache off and turned him back to normal again.
It was at this point, the sidekicks realized that they had accidentally made it to the top of the mountain, which was their goal all along. Nate Urman came up to congratulate them for their victory, only for it to be revealed that he was just the Moustachesquatch in disguise, who tried to attack them again. Fortunately for the sidekicks, their cargo plane came by and picked them up to safety before the Moustachesquatch could attack them.
Moustachesquatch made a return cameo in "Eric-o and Mandy-et" as one of the villains on the evil side of town, stampeding to keep Eric and Mandy Struction from dating.
Trivia[]
- He is a parody on Sasquatch.
- The name of his alter-ego, "Nate Urman", is a pun on the phrase "Nature Man".
- As Nate Urman, a running gag associated with him was that in every frame of animation he appears in, another animal would randomly appear on or around his person.
